looks really good, will give people a good idea of what to expect if they are thinking of taking their siming to the real world and for me personally it is the ATC side of things that is holding me back from starting lessons. i have got a decent amount of "know how" from spending the last two years flying around in sims but never really got to grips with rules and guides this will change that and hopefully give a lot more context to what i do. thanks for the heads up
One of the annoying things in MSFS is that the ATC is all American,I have protested on the forum but to no avail,I assume flight following to be their version of either radar service or basic service.I still hope that one day they will localise ATC according to the country we are flying in......................................
Didn't acknowledge the clearance into the zone. How much interaction with Controlled Airspace does it contain, and is it to UK regs, as that would be a good refresher for me too even though I don't fly IRL any more?

Yes it is possible, however a core will still store on c drive. You get the option to determine location during install to a;ternate et locations for add ons etc.

OK, I sent a letter to FS Academy, but I'm curious on your views. Can you select the aircraft you're flying? From what I see it looks like you are put in different planes each time you start a new segment. I would think it would be beneficial for a student pilot to stick with a specific aircraft to learn the basics rather than try to learn different handling characteristics of planes. Also, are there different versions based on the region you are normally flying; i.e. USA vs Europe vs UK)? Thanks; Marty
Hi Marty, the Navigator series of modules is restricted to the Cessna 152. No option to change in this one, as you said above, this is to help with aircraft familiarity.
@@SimHangerFS Thanks. I thought it would be a good investment so I went ahead and purchased the VFR, IFR and Navigate. IFR should help with my actual IFR training I'm in now :) Been thru several of the VFR modules and so far I'm pretty impressed.

The video is heavily edited, he did acknowledge clearance in the full tutorial. Yes UK flights to UK regs, at a basic level.

On the Xbox you can’t access the community folder…it has a hidden install folder and all happens automatically.
