I am in Joliet Illinois and the storm was very intense. Lost power but it came on around 3am. No damage here like farther north of me. Very scary, I am recovering from a broken hip and I am very slow. Couldn't get to the basement so I sat in my bathtub. The only place I could get to. Condolences to everyone who have been hit harder than my area.
People still think it's a good idea to go all electric!? Imagine going a week without heat if something like this were to happen in the winter. Natural gas lines are run underground.
How about listing the 30 areas that are being investigated for tornado damage? Would certainly help those of us from Illinois who no longer live there, just to get a handle on what communities were affected..

But people are still not paying attentions and praying for God's mercy to falls through for mankind, because they are so preoccupied in the sphere of life. Then, they put God in their storage rooms somewhere. But there will be darker days ahead of us until we take the necessary steps to repent and turn our lives around to make it right with the most high God. 😔 ❤

I like how this station and GMA like to misuse the word massive. I had a tree that would lose branches bigger than that "massive" and "enormous" tree😂 Now those trees in Will County are closer to being called massive. After taking a look at those trees in Will County, I'm not surprised that neighborhood looks like that. My tree looked the exact same way, and the last time a branch broke off, it made up a 1/3 of the size of the tree. It fell after the storm went through, and what caused it to eventually break off was the weight of the water on the leaves and the branches. Straight line wind can cause this. If the texas guy didn't want to deal with tornadoes, he needs to move either on the east coast, rock mountains, or west coast. Tornadoes aren't new here.

I live in Richton Park and it definitely was intense! That was the first ever tornado I ever experienced in my life! Scared the living crap out of me!
