Yeah, it’s really sad. Girls and women had a much better life. Just think what it was like for a 20 year old woman when we pulled out and the Taliban took over again. For the vast majority she experienced a resemblance of freedom she’ll never have again. Although I know it’s much much different, I sure hope we don’t leave Ukraine like we did Afghanistan.
She sings and she looks like she's a GODDESS, no less..✨ The meaningful ending of this "Sweet and Sour" comedy movie touched my heart and made me cry...Even if I laughed out very loud during all the movie, cause everything is sooo intense at every minute!!! The whole soundtrack is A1 quality choice and work.
So, let's never forget Cats Stevens, the greatest of all..🔥

I was born just as the Vietnam War was at it's end. I grew up listening to Cat Stevens' song. I (at that time) I just thought it was a catchy tune. Arin exemplifies what this song is all about! I recommend Rock The Kasbah to anyone searching for their place in the world. ✌️

This movie gets no love on rotten tomatoes and some other site that reviews movies… However, I loved it! It was funny, at times, but really a feel good movie.
Rotten tomatoes is a tool you're using wrong. Do the exact opposite of what they say, and you'll the good stuff
I agree. It’s not a perfect movie, but it was much better than they made it sound. Bill Murray did great, and it had a good message near the end
I don't even use Rotten Tomatoes before I watch a movie, because I like to make up my own mind. A buddy of mine won't watch it because of RT, and I couldn't believe it, because this movie does a fantastic job of capturing the true feel of Afghanistan.
I caught this movie one late night recently on HBO (Rock the Kasbah) I liked it a lot. IMHO it's Bill Murray's best work since 'Lost in Translation' And, Yes this final SCENE/SONG is awesome! Highly Recommended. Peace to All

I thought this movie was pretty mediocre overall, but it was also one of the last ones I watched with my little brother before he passed, so it has a special place in my heart. This last scene though...one of my favorites in any movie ever.

But Ukraine, I fear we stop supplying them with what they need to defend themselves. Especially if Trump is president again. I personally like him, but not when it comes to the environment and Ukraine

I am not sure of the writers' objectives. But this version of the clip of the movie gives me hope for fellow humans. Breaking free of the strongest of all man-made shackles to being alive and living every second of the gift of life that being religion made me cry tears of hope when this scene was played through at the end of movie. I am saddened by how religion is so capable of having people die without having lived. I fell prey to the Christian thing for decades having a low enough IQ to take as long as I did to realize how powerful the gift of life I had numerically speaking to have been gifted to understand. End religion to start LIFE.
The author is a pacifist... like John Lennon... and a man full of absolutely great songs and a man with a great life journey, abandoned music and converted to religion and returned some years ago...

Cat Stevens and Dolly Parton did not specify any particular war, but it was clear that it was a protest song to the Vietnam War. The same can still be applied to almost every war ever fought!
