How to model a Pencil in Maya

Hi Nalin.I have a question.I am trying to model this pencil,but this pencil has 3 sides i stead of 6.I get to the part where you bevel the 3 edges.but the part where the point part of the pencil needs to be bridged I am getting some difficulties.it is not rounded and even worst I gethard edges.i used soften edges but it doesnt really help.do you have any advice ?
