I work in homes and these have become pretty popular for feeding chairs, personally I’ve found that the babies posture is not upright enough for me to feel comfortable feeding in it. I have been sliding a cook book or blanket under it like you’ve suggested here for this seat, but also little ones flop from side to side in it.
Just put the kid in the laundry basket and call it a day. We didn't have things like this 200 years ago 400 years ago 500 years ago a thousand years ago and and we still got old people and baby
