I still have my 1982 cruiser. Still the same engine, well over a million kilometers ( odometer stopped working). Just general maintenance and no engine rebuilds. Still picks up and goes the same way it did from factory. Had a little rust issue, and paint was getting worn out, so we stripped all body paint, protected it, and repainted in factory colors. Runs perfectly fine, and definitely got my money's worth. Here in the middle east it still goes for more than a 2010 nissan patrol. Probably will outlive me to be honest.
I just bought my Corolla a few months ago, this is really good to know. These cars are almost indestructible.

I live in Ireland and I want Toyota to produce this Land Cruiser here.
The one we have is the Prado J150 with its 4-Cylinder engine. The closest places to us where we can get the J200 are Belarus and Ukraine.
This is the only car that you can road trip all across America like for example from New York to la or to Miami and around the world that will last forever and will never break down like other cars. It has infinite miles and and infinite life ♾
Probably my favorite SUV. I hope the next generation one will keep the V8, although that seems unlikely at this point.

I'd had it for about 3 years or so and I gotta say, this is one of those cars you won't have the need to babysit or be worried about if you were to get into an accident.
I was in an accident with this car about 2 years ago and it handled the collision like a champ. Co-incidently, the other car that hit my land cruiser was a land cruiser too.. 🤣
We came out unscathed. And as always, I've much respect for Toyota, especially the land cruiser. The thing is a frickin tank.. Definitely recommended it.. Although it's not cheap on the fuel.. 🤣

nice. love the engine. this is 5.7 V8 381 hp. same engine in the LX 570. They also have a 4.5l diesel v8 with like 275hp but big torque. You should try that.

@@virajshah4387 It's a 5.7 iforce V8 actually. But only 380hp and 2.6 tons. It isn't supposed to be that quick. Maybe it's the gearing or something.
