Mountain Fork Creek

This trip was a created somewhat on the fly. I had originally planned to do a different hike in the Mulberry River area but when Lucie talked to her sister and invited her to come up from Little Rock, I decided to change locations to a place that had more to see and was easier to get to. This area has a lot of waterfalls, but is also a popular OHV location and we did encounter a few while there. As I said, this is a beautiful area with lots to see so I hope you enjoy our little trek through the area.

You went here recently I think. Beautiful creek ruined by scumsuckers...I would never go back to that area. They have little appreciation for the outdoors. The creek looked good though.

We were indeed there not too long ago. Yes those OHVs put a damper on things for me too, but once I get up into Hanging Rock Hollow they're no longer an issue thankfully. Suzie and I were acting as tour guides on this day. It was her sister's first trip there. We knew there would be a few good falls in close proximity for them to see so the hiking wouldn't be crazy tough. They really had a good time so it was worth it (they didn't care for the OHVs either).
