Oh no, Chris! I kind of feel your pain, a bit! When we lived in Arlington, I felt like packages hit us a lot sooner. But, since we moved a little further south...things are a little slower. I'm ok with that though! Rather have the slower pace of life we have now - than to have faster packages living in the congested city!
Love the box but my favorite was the magnetic pin cushion and I like that you can put your finger underneath it. I do love the iron ons as well.the zipper pull to me it looks like a charm for a bracelet lol. Great box and of course amazing job. I really liked the magnet in pin holder, the box cutter and the little scissor charm. I think the fabric maybe good for I spy quilt or a super scrappy Bonnie Hunter quilt.

It would be a toss up for me on which would be my favorite item in that box. And I will say it definitely is not the fabric! I love that magnetic pin cushion because of the way it's styled with that valley in it to grab your pins. I have one of the first rabbits that ever came out 35-40 years ago and I still use that and like it but I would love to have that fat quarter aqua with that valley. But that book of label iron ads is awesome. I wonder if you can purchase that book from fat quarter shop. Oh and BTW I love your nails.

YES! I'm a little behind with the 2022 blocks, but will be getting caught up in January! My goal is to have this BOM completely done before I allow myself to start on 2023!

I liked everything except the fabric. I don’t like the fish, but the other fabric is pretty. We should be able to substitute other fabric for the fish, I would think.

Becca I am loving your shirt! That cute little scissor charm is going on a project bag zipper pull. That was probably my favorite thing in this box. That fabric. nope. not for me.
It seems I wasn’t the only one who didn’t like the fabric but it made a colorful little kids quilt that I can practice free motion on. Sometimes I need a fabric that I’m not emotionally attached to to practice techniques on❤😂
Love most of the items in the box but the fabric is a big miss for me. I'll give it away at my next retreat. Still love my Sew Sampler boxes. They really try hard.
Thanks for another great unboxing and Merry Christmas to you and your family. Your videos have become one of my must watch items. My favorite sew sampler item is the magnetic pin cushion, I have several but can always use another. Sadly the fabric is a big miss. It is not something I will use and definitely does not live up to FQS style standards that are usually in the boxes.
Aww, thanks for the kind words Sally! I agree - the fabric isn't quite the typical FQS pick...which is why I think it was a miss with so many. But they made up for it - in my opinion - with the notions!
I think FQS lost a bet to have had to use that fabric...I think I'd use maybe 6 of those prints, the rest is a miss for me, but I LOVE the little zipper pull, the label book & the little box cutter! The fabric will definitely be a giveaway I'm afraid.

Unfortunately, the fabric is a big miss for me. I’ll probably use it for the back of a wall hanging so I don’t really see it. Maybe it would be okay if they were cut up in small pieces for a scrap quilt. Anyway, I like the labels the best.
I had trouble with mine too. It fits very tightly, but keep trying and it’ll slide out eventually. I had to watch the video to see how Becca does it. 😂
Unfortunately the whole box for me is a miss. I’m unclear how the label book is labels, I thought the point of labels was to put information on your quilt?
@@sewbecca maybe you iron them on then write around the border the information? My box is delayed but maybe the directions give some clue. Honestly the book feels like something i will put on the shelf as a future good idea but never use.
Fabric is definitely a big miss. Too pinkish and girlie for my taste. I want a bass or trout to look like a bass or a trout, not a cartoon character. Absolutely right - not every box is going to please 100% of everyone! But, I love more than I dislike - and even in the 'eh' boxes, there's something I like!
Love the box except the fabric. Big miss in my book. Too bad we can't think of a non profit quilt group we can send to, they would get enough to do a bunch of quilts. lol
My opinion is that the Fisherman's charm pack was not a good seller, and to get rid of it, it landed in everyones box. ugh. I would never use it, and it's actually not a gift, it's something everyone paid for.

The box cutter was a little hard to actually work with because it was so small. Might be difficult for arthritic fingers?

I need to work on labeling my quilts. In my mind, someone who sees it will pick it apart instead of seeing the thought and purpose in the quilt.

It took a lot of elbow grease to push it open. I might have even squeezed it a little bit when I did that?
