Darn, I'll have to get rid of all my Dyson Vac cleaners. I read that Dyson has discontinued all corded appliances (only battery powered now). Also when you were testing a compressor cooler, you said that having no food inside or thermal mass, would be a worst case scenario. I guess I don't understand batteries and coolers... depending on what temp the thermal mass was at before the test ... or I'm not paid enough by Dr. Prepare.
I haven’t heard anything about Dyson discontinuing their corded vacuums. That would be sad. I love their animal line of vacuums. As far as thermal mass goes…you’re right that if the mass is warmer than the cooler temperature, it will take more power to cool it off. However, most people will pack their cooler say the night before leaving for a trip, and the stuff has a chance to sit in the cooler overnight plugged in to AC power. Once the mass gets to the temperature of the cooler, you use less power to maintain it than just a bunch of empty air. At least that’s been the case for me and my use cases. Thanks for watching!
A small vacuum shuts down but the Dr Prepare runs a top load washer and dryer at the same time? I’m baffled, my Speed Queen washer draws over 9 amps just by itself, that little vacuum shouldn’t be more than about 5 amps.
Yep! The washer and dryer combined use less power than the vacuum. The Dr. Prepare has fantastic surge so it can start the dryer, but once it’s started, the dryer just kind of coasts…the vacuum is a sustained heavy load and trips the over current protection. Thanks for watching!

If the output USB-C were also 100 W it would be a game changer.
