I could buy Rubicon 2s cheap. But my choice between those 3 speakers is the B&W 707 S3. Why? Because of small dimensions, overall build quality and interesting and real HiFi sound from the smallest speakers in comparison. Rubicon 2s are the best in the world standmounts for classical music. But Dali is 9 years old construction and you can hear it. Little flexibility in sound presentation, not the best speakers for home theatre and modern music. Design are good but I feel more for other two speakers. Sonettos are wonderful for MTV Unplugged music too and they look amazing. HiFi sound signature is not present in Sonus Faber like it is on Dali and B&W. Sonettos is light on his feet and you can listen "romantic" music presentation very long without any fatigue. B&W. The most controversial one. For dedicated speakers for bookshelves 707 S3 are simply the best. It seems to me for speakers with dimensions of 707 S3 HiFi producers have lost interest to make new high-quality speakers. Instead, everything is Bluetooth, multiroom, battery-driven solutions. OK, still is on sale smaller speakers but not with 707 S3 qualities. Many HiFi enthusiasts have small listening rooms, and HiFi producers should make more quality products for smaller environments. Fancy to by a soundbar? Not me sir, thank you. My 707s are only 2 days old but I tested a demo pair at home last week together with a Dali Opticons 1 MK2s and Sonus Faber Sonetto 2, and previously I checked Dali Opticon 2 MK2 and Rubicon 2, and B&W 607 S3. For my smallish room and NAD M10 V2 amplifier, B&W 707 S3 are the best combination. To pair a class D amplifier with B&W speakers is challenging at least. But when I was using room correction DSP Dirac Live, I noticed that the original frequency curves for 707 S3s were spot on and best among all tested speakers in my living room. Toeing is very important detail for B&W, Dalis do not need toeing. All in all 707 S3 are the best combination of sound between musicality and clarity. And in the real world, the black 707 S3 looks fantastic!

今のメインスピーカーであるアコースティックエナジーAE-1を別な機種に交代しようか迷っているが、この中だと707ｓしか考えられないかな。中高域の澄み切った解像度の感じがすごく似ている。
