I agree, this game could do with having either the ability to test cooking procedures during the prepping period or at least add some visuals while hovering over the cards to show how things are done. For the time being it does seem like a good idea to take new side dishes on early to learn & so that if it gets messed up not too much progress is lost. Would love to see muuuuch more of this!
I play solo on this game. You do not need to cut meat to add to the dough. You can even hold the dough and press A against the fridge to add (so no need to place down what you have on hand)
I love this game which is ironic because I work fast food and I usually watch these videos to not think about work. I freaking love yall guys! yall helped me out when I thought I was going to lose my mom due to covid. please keep being the awesome people that yall are and keep playing this game because I'm in love.
I just started imagining their characters FRANTICALLY SCREAMING whenever they're waving their arms around and I cant stop laughing. The Customers would be like "what the heck, man?"
Oh man this game really needs a tutorial or explanation or something when it comes to new mechanics. The brocc situation shows that the game design can be tweeked.
I have put 15 hours into the demo now, and I am dying of jealousy watching you guys playing the full version while I know more about what everything does. Fun agony! I want the game to release so badly
Really love the concept! I don't think you actually need to cut up the meat for pies though, the recipe says to just add the meat after making the dough!
The text for broccoli sides didn't say chop it either, but they had to. And you don't put a whole slab of meat in a meat pie IRL, you chop it up first.
@Ellison Bayan that's the thing, I actually watched another playthrough and they didn't need to chop the broccoli before putting it in the oven. In fact, it actually cooked finished but price put it back in the oven and hence the symbol was different. He was actually interacting to take a portion halfway when they decided it wasn't working and stopped... if he continued with the interaction he would have got a serving of broccoli side successfully
The game is great, I'd love to see more of it! I wonder what is the impact of atmosphere you make in the dining room thanks to the decorations. What is the difference between home, fancy, and business atmosphere? Like, does it impact the number of guests coming at once to one table, the patience, or perhaps the tip clients pay? Also, pay attention to the radius of the decorations - if you want it to impact the feeling on one of the tables, make sure the furniture reaches it.
Please play more of this! Edit: I can imagine the mixed singing “Baby I’m worth it” Also, if they don’t provide a tutorial and would like you to figure it out, I hope they have some kind of like a “test kitchen” option before starting the round. Unless that is their decided feature, then well…
This looks like a really fun game to play, but goodness it would be hard for single-player! Unless they adjust difficulties to match the amount of players? Been having fun watching this, guys, please play more!
I def want to see more. I agree that the sides not having an explanation or trial period kinda sucks, but I feel like you’ve done enough where you can probably do it now. I think once you can start making sides consistently it’ll be more interesting and I really like watching you play this game anyways
You don't need to cut the meat for pie, the broccoli doesn't need cut either and was cooked the first time you, just gotta take a serving from the pot.
Can't wait for this game to come out, I want to play it. Hopefully it has a decent singleplayer gameplay as I don't have people I could play this with.
If this is really a gourelike, I would love to see chalange modes, like higher levels of difficulty in other games. For example clients pays twice as much, but you need to buy raw ingidients each time you pick them up for half of the dish price (so if you prepare too much you loose some money). Or when you clean floors trash added to your hands, and you need to throw it out. Or people my come with kids. And kids would leave a bigger mess, with a chance that if there is something on a countertop close to them they would throw it on floor.
I imagine that's like the Table Cloth purchasable that gives them more sales at the cost of them staying for longer tho agree these things could certainly spice up the game
Tip:if you have the food ready you can just take the order then the customer would take the food that is already on the table really good if you have candy That is also the reason there is the frozen prep station so that you can place the pre readied food
It's kind of fun but frustrated even to watch. If I got that broccoli problem I'd rage quit. And this is not the first time. This game seriously needs an overhaul on explaining how the game mechanic works. There are a billion things to cook in Overcook, but it's always explained at the beginning of the stage.
I agreeeee! Even the simple ability do a trial-cooking run during the set-up phase could greatly help them understand what's going on and min-max the layout if they wished to
same, i love watching them work but when the game gives you something that could end a run with no instructions whatsoever is kind of frustrating XD, hopefully thisll be fixed/improved by the full release
Pie spot or whatever it was called along sandy west of Hollywood (near the Pepsi building) had meat pies. They closed during covid. I think they still have one in south east
this game really needs a TUTORIAL everytime a side or new dish is introduced. Or even a 3-time strikeout until the game ends. makes me so sad that they can't even get past the 3rd level because of this knick knack
Yess more plate up, this is an amazing series I can't wait to see more!
Same
This is turning into my new Overcooked.
Yes! It is so entertaining to watch and it shows since the last episode of this got more views than any other episode close to it. Please do continue
I agree, this game could do with having either the ability to test cooking procedures during the prepping period or at least add some visuals while hovering over the cards to show how things are done. yeah like diner bros, they give some pictures on what to do.
They added that
@@michaelhitchcock2037 Have noticed it in the latest episodes and am glad so

By dough, I mean the raw pie

I just started imagining their characters FRANTICALLY SCREAMING whenever they're waving their arms around and I cant stop laughing. The Customers would be like "what the heck, man?"
Loving the concept already. But like you guys said, it needs a good tutorial to explain the mechanics thoroughly.
The table cloth is actually a Table - Table Cloth it should say with though to make it easier to understand.
I don't think I've been this invested in a game you've played since Nom Nom Galaxy and Overcooked!
It's Stumpt, it's food, it's teamwork. It's meant to be.
Don’t often comment, but really loving this series, glad that you’re continuing to play it!
The pie restaurant should be called "Two for the Pies of One"
Oh man this game really needs a tutorial or explanation or something when it comes to new mechanics. The brocc situation shows that the game design can be tweeked.
A place that serves meat pies and broccoli honestly sounds so amazing I'm hungry now
Same, I made a pot pie just because of this. But I didn't have any broccoli :(
More plates up yesss pls keep up the good work
I love this series you guys have to keep playing this 😂✨👍🏽😌
Can't wait to see more!
I have put 15 hours into the demo now, and I am dying of jealousy watching you guys playing the full version while I know more about what everything does. Fun agony! I want the game to release so badly
I hope you will enjoy it greatly when it releases! :)
Are they really playing the full version?
@@bhartleby5033 I can't wait, ahhhh!
@@Golladan Yes, they get access to dishes and days the demo doesn't. They say in episode one they received a key from the dev.
Jazzy: Whats our storename?
Me: EEL PIES!!! YOU ARE THE EEL PIES!
oh i'm loving it thank you all for sharing this game w us
Really love the concept!
I don't think you actually need to cut up the meat for pies though, the recipe says to just add the meat after making the dough!

Thrilled that you have posted more of this. Cheers!
I feel like they would be more successful with side dishes if they had the side dishes prepared by the dish washer in the separate room.
so does that mean the broccoli didn't have to go in the oven?
The game is great, I'd love to see more of it!

Yaaay!!! I love it when you guys play these type of games!! More of PlateUp please!!!
I'm really enjoying this series!
Please play more of this!
Edit:
I can imagine the mixed singing “Baby I’m worth it”

Unless that is their decided feature, then well…
liked the video before even watching it lol.
Keep this series!!
Heads up for next time, the table cloth is an additional table
I believe you don't need to chop the meat to put in the meat pies, just put the whole steak in the pie crust to save on two actions per pie.
I love this series so much!
Best series ever!!!
I really like watching this game. Hope you play more!
Yay, more Plate Up!!
This looks like a really fun game to play, but goodness it would be hard for single-player! Unless they adjust difficulties to match the amount of players? Been having fun watching this, guys, please play more!
Yes, we all like it, Great work!
I def want to see more. I agree that the sides not having an explanation or trial period kinda sucks, but I feel like you’ve done enough where you can probably do it now. this my fav current series ngl
You don't need to cut the meat for pie, the broccoli doesn't need cut either and was cooked the first time you, just gotta take a serving from the pot.
Lovin this game! Can't wait for more plate up vids.
The table cloth actually serves as a table too.
Can't wait for this game to come out, I want to play it. Hopefully it has a decent singleplayer gameplay as I don't have people I could play this with.
It seems like when you have a complex dish to make, it might be better to wait to take orders until the dish is mostly ready.
This game is super fun to watch 😁
thanks for showcasing this game. Can't wait for the release already on the wishlist!
Loving watching you guys play this game. Very glad you’ll be continuing!
for info u can put anything like food in the sink it work like a counter
I love watching plate up!
Great game! Someone needs to stop Jazz taking orders when the kitchen did not prep. 😅😅😅
I think it's better to put a table near the wall for 2 people so you can get more space for another table.
Let's go guys you can do it.

Craving meat pies throughout the whole video! Love it, can’t wait to get hungry with the next one!
Yay! I loved this gameplay!

I really enjoy the premise of this game !
Yaaay! More Plate Up! :)
somehow i always like when you guys play food related game 😂
Hopefully the game will be updated with better tutorials! But defiantly make more episodes!!
BTW, I think the best thing to do is to put the sides in the cool storage counter
I want to see more plate up
I looove this game
Plates up!
I love this game and can't wait for the release! Played the demo and it's great.
I was shouting at the screen from the start, that you don't need to cut the meat for the pie xD
you guys work soo well together. Makes me wonder how long have you known eachother
Yas been waiting for another cooking game
This game needs a tutorial whenever a new thing is added! Love the game though!
Nice.
more plate up plz
Pie spot or whatever it was called along sandy west of Hollywood (near the Pepsi building) had meat pies. They closed during covid. I think they still have one in south east
I love it
pls do more of plate up! i really enjoy it
Yeees, i love this series!
I'm pretty sure the tablecloth is actually an extra table with a table cloth on it so next time you should definitely just buy it
please do more im loving this!
YEEESSSSSS I LOVE THIS
i really enjoy your gameplay . this game also makes me hungry
loving it.
This game look so fun!
cooking game definitely you guys game
such a shame the broccoli wasn't straightforward :( would love to see more videos!!!
I WANT MORE 😜
forged in fire is life
this game really needs a TUTORIAL everytime a side or new dish is introduced. Or even a 3-time strikeout until the game ends. makes me so sad that they can't even get past the 3rd level because of this knick knack
love it 💗
Also I live in Texas and there are some REALLY good Cajun meat pies
Stumpt upload the video and i already here because I liked a lot see you guys playing that game
More please!
I think the sides would do better if you could do a tutorial every time that you got one, with the option of skipping it if you think it would be fine
U should have done more than 1 run
I have now consumed an episode of PlateUp! and I want seconds!
Just another reason to hate broccoli
Y’all should play some more Minecraft dungeons
Wait what do you mean there's only a single place that makes meat pies???
don't have to chop the meat.
just put the steaks in the pie.
also, note that decor has range, and some decor removes other decor.
fancy 2 is quite good.
Btw u can wait to take their order to delay for some time
What console do you play this on?
“We’ll play just a little bit more” 120 videos later (as of this comment)
Yeah im from Belguim LOL
Is this the demo?
