I have the quartz blue one just to step away from the AP resemblance. Pure daily driver. I got an above average amount of compliments about the PRX. Tissot does have a hit on their hands. A classic in the making indeed. 😎
Great watch! Had it to since august and was the greatest surprise this year. Super comfortable, well made. I acquired the OP 41, the Zenith Defy and still, this one has had the most wristtime. I just wished they did the T tissot branding like back in the day iso the Tissot with the year. And yes, maybe the waffle is not entirely the right choice, but on the other hand, you don’t see it that much and like sunray dials are nobody’s property, so are waffle dials…
i just recently bought the blue as my first swiss auto. got it for 10% off on sale on amazon and when i saw that price dip i pulled the trigger after wanting it for 7 months.

This is A reissue of the 1978 Tissot Seastar and I would recommend the 35 millimeter blue sunburst quartz because it resembles the 1978 Tissot in every way! The powermatic 80 is Lazer regulated so regular maintenance and repair must be done by Tissot only and will be troublesome and expensive!

I was looking at that but again surprised that connoisseurs don’t say why buy this when can pay double and get a quality watch like omega constellation vintage against what is actually a copy of AP or Bulgari
I got the white linen quartz, more true to the seastar original. the gold plated galvanised automatic will just flake. holding out for a green dial in the automatic. the gold fluted bezel one looks great, but is it worth the money? Buy the movement, not the watch. The ML looks poor value in comparison. Rhodium-plated and 200m good, but only 36h PR? NOOOO!
I am afraid I am getting a bit tired of all those integrated bracelet designs in recent years. I am a fan of the C-shaped case watches, and maybe they will see a revival as well one day?

Im stuck between the blue and black. Haha. I like the blue but have enough blue in my collection.
It really reminds me of my Q Timex with that flat 70's look, but PRX tries to look a bit more classy and it's automatic.
I also got the old style box like you. Which markets are getting the slimline box with the buildings skyline cutouts?
