Unleash the parts cannon! It's the little things that really make the difference on how you feel driving the thing! It all helps. We had a bunch of storms here yesterday, severe flooding in the bottoms. I had a 5 gal bucket sitting in the yard, it ended up close to 1/2 full from the rain! All the crops we had in the bottoms ,was 6 foot under water last time I saw them! All that work gone in one storm! 😕
Not going to say I told you that was the battery cover on the wall, but . Lol It looked similar to the on on our 2-155 under the step. Looking better already.
Check the injection pump throttle shaft seal, I think they are one of the possible causes for your loss of prime. I recall my dad saying he had to replace some of them.
Awesome! That would make sense because of where it appears to be leaking down into the valley. Sometime when I get time, I’ll pull it inside and check it out. Thanks for the tip!
They are the Knipex Plier Wrench. Harbor Freight has an Icon version for $20 less. Very good quality, I love mine as well. Of course I call it the red pliers.
I saw a 4-180 that the owner's son bashed in one of those screens. Dad told him you did it you fix it. The son found at a metals shop some perforated stainless steel and made a pair of those lower grill pieces. Looked pretty good.
I’m sure that you can buy that metal somewhere. It’s fairly common looking stuff but it’s awfully nice to be able to order one that fits right in and I think it only cost me like two dollars.
i like you videos Ross..right before bed time put me right to sleep. Could you one day make a video? ..if you have an Oliver 1365 or similar...Im having issues.. with my PTO...grinds when engaging .
But Ross, where's the fun in not having to get a different tool for each screw or bolt on those screens on the front?😂I always enjoy your videos, your sense of self demeaning tickles me, but I know you're a nice guy and just do it to lighten the situation. Good for you to be able to do that. Can't wait to see how much you can get done on the 4-150 and all the rest of your projects. Thanks and I hope you have a superb day!
The secret to keeping your chrome exhaust pipes from turning colour is to .... never start the engine! This also solves problems of some oil and water leaks and of course greatly improves fuel economy.
What do you think of the white selling in Ireland with 55 hours on.machinery Pete is following it must have sat out since new looks like it has 2550 hours on it its the talk of the Oliver community probably cost more to ship it then you'll pay. For it
Awesome, always wanted an Oliver 880 diesel. Those are such awesome sounding tractors! How much hp does WFE have that Cat 3408 set up for. I know the same engine went into the Cat D11 dozers and they were pushing 850 hp. Damn good engines though!
Good to see you can still get a few parts for those old beasts. Good video Ross
I liked it
Thanks!
Right After This! Don’t ever lose that enthusiasm Ross.
🤣 Thanks!
Biggest reason I enjoy your videos, relatable sadness. Keep at it, piece by piece.
Thanks!
Good video
Can't wait see it working
Great job and video Ross. Anytime there is progress being made, it makes for a good day. That stack really makes a difference. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Keith!

Oh my! Luckily, the severe stuff missed us here.

🏆 #1🎉🎉 !!! Love your videos, and live the drop super early so I can watch before I pass back out!!! You rock Ross 🪨
Or get home from work
Thank you!!
Ross check with someone with a chromed up harley ,there is some stuff you can apply to the chrome to keep it from turning blue.
Awesome! I’ll have to check into that. Thanks!
Sometimes it is the little improvements that bring happiness. Thanks for the video. See you later.
Thank you!!
Looks like a pretty cool tractor, and glad you got it so it won't get parted out
Thanks!
Love the red plyers
Knipex

Thanks John!!

Thanks, Michael! You can’t win them all 🤣
Nice video Ross
Thanks!

Hey Man. We would we get a pair of red pliers. Keep up the good work.
They are the Knipex Plier Wrench. Harbor Freight has an Icon version for $20 less. Very good quality, I love mine as well. Of course I call it the red pliers.
They’re knipex brand. A viewer sent them to me.
You need a pair of knipex channel lock style pliers.
I’m sure they’re spectacular! everything that knipex makes is great!!
Hi Ross always love your videos don't miss a one.I was wondering if the 4-180 is the mighty whitey what is the 4-150 going to be?
I haven’t decided yet. But I have been thinking about that. 🤣
Those lights were redick!!!
Not the greatest!

Ross's one eyeed monster has a kitty cat in it!
🤣🤣🤣
Needs a light bar like the 4-180
I’m sure eventually we’ll get there!
Looking better already Ross
Thanks!
If you take black wood stove paint and paint the inside of pipe it will help it stay Chrome that is what I do to motorcycle pipes
Cool!! I’ll have to try that. It’s definitely worth a shot!

Thank you Dan!!
As you would say Ross it looks more better lol
Thanks!!

🤣🤣🤣
Hey Ross if you fast forward the video when you’re sitting down working on it your tractor was rolling backwards! Watch out for that parking break?!
I noticed that while editing as well. It was in neutral, so it was just very casually going backwards.
I wouldn't of even touched those cooler lines that could surely turn in to sadness
Yeah, I tried not to even look at them too hard 🤣🤣🤣
😁👍👍👍
Thanks!
You are a vary early Riser, getup with the chickens 🐓 ,as I’m getting ready to hit the bed , thanks BigAl California.
Not really 🤣 I’m not a morning person at all. I’d rather stay up super late and sleep in.
👍👍
Thanks!
😄😄👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
30 minutes later he gets a piece of metal put on 😮😮😮😮😮
Sometimes to do it right, it takes a while.
It wouldnt be rosss channel without sadness
😭😭😭
@@rosstheoliverman dont worry Ross we still like you

It’s a 3208. In the 4-150, it’s 150 HP.
@@rosstheoliverman oh yeah 3208. My apologies. 3408 was in the D11’s lol. 3208 must be its smaller brother! 150 hp what a machine! It sounds awesome!
Would you just look at it. 😊
🤣🤣🤣
What kind of spray paint are you using to touch up the tractors? Im using Majic oliver green from tractor supply i don't think it looks right.
I’ve been using Rust-oleum, but they discontinued it
What did we win from the online auction?😮😮😮
Oliver matchbooks. I’ll have to do a video on my collection of those sometime. Probably do a video on all the memorabilia.
2- 135
It’s nice
How many rpm`s you run that cat engine in the field, thanks
It runs about 2400 I believe. That’s where the rated PTO speed is I think.
Ross d3 3:48 3:48 3:48
Thanks!
What brand is it I want one
Knipex, a viewer sent them to me
great video seems like no job is to big or to small
Thanks!
Man, it must feel great NOT to be working on a CO-OP tractor.
You got that right! 🤣
