    That's a nice looking 1955. I especially like one with fender tanks and open station. That cab though would be handy keeping one out of the elements

      Typically, about the first thing I do when I get an Oliver is take the cab off if it has one. This one was in such good condition, I decided to keep it.

    Well, you can add my name to the list of admirers of the 1955, looks and sounds great. The Gehl 4625 and 350 did awesome jobs too. I really like watching your line of equipment at work, you make them do the job, no panty lace work on your video. Thanks for sharing, and i hope you have a great Sunday.

      I'm discing corn stubble now, and almost planted the 4-225. I was able to back up and hit it again and was able to get out out. So that's already a good day in my book. Thanks!

    • @aaronkaraszewski2749
      @aaronkaraszewski2749 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok sorry it took so long for me to respond again. It turned into a busy day around here! Anyway my plow question is; on my 575 4btm hydraulic reset semi mount plow, I cannot get the last two bortoms to go in the ground deep enough. The front two I can get to penetrate the ground good, almost to the point if them tripping. But the back two just do not seem to go deep enough. So I was wondering if you had and advice or tips on what to do.? The plow itself is in good shape, I just recharged the nitrogen in the accumulater and also the hydraulic system as per the Oliver manual. The points and moldboards are not new but in good useable shape. Also my ground is heavy topsoil that really dried out in a hurry this past week.

    • @ThatOliverGuyChris
      @ThatOliverGuyChris  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep. The pto shaft had to be replaced, but fortunately I was able to put one together from parts I had. I put an idler pulley in place of the wood block that had rotted and let the chain jump off, and that was something I had laying around, so it was a relatively cheap fix.
