This review is so good! Definitely what I needed to pull the trigger. I appreciate the time and detail that you put into this. Man, the only thing I wish was different was that built-in battery. I have a bank of those rechargeable 18650 batteries, and being able to swap them out during a day of shooting would give you pretty much never-ending power. I worry more about my phone running out of juice than I do the gimbal, but if they were both running off of the same field-swappable battery, you'd never have to stop to recharge anything.

I picked up one of these in late October for walking tour videos and I absolutely love it. What I didn't like was the Mimo app. Everything I filmed with it was jittery, so I've been using the default camera app with no complaints. And from searching around, I wasn't the only one with this issue on the iPhone. When I need to make use of time lapse and such, I'll give the app another go.

I live in Jacksonville lol absolutely no mistaking the Jacksonville skyline from the riverfront. Just started a TH-cam channel for my sailboat. I have a sailboat parked at the Rutter club. And have been wanting to improve the videos that I shoot. Thank you for the content and your video looked amazing.
You said 'this videos gone on long enough' but for me I was just getting started, I wanted to know more and more. It was greatcoat!! What I do want to know is can you get the same effect by using this gimbel with a Samsung phone rather than a iPhone??
Loved the review! It looks great and I did learn some new stuff. But not all is well in DJI land: the app doesn't allow you to save videos on an SD card on Android: it always goes to internal memory, which is usually limited. Next to that, the software also doesn't recognize an external microphone, although the native camera apps on the phones do. This limits the functionality a lot. So: the device is great, the software needs some TLC.

In reading their website, they say not to place it near other magnetic objects. Does the iPhone 12 Pro magnet interfere with it at all, or vice-versa? Also, I'm guessing it doesn't work with the iPhone 12 Pro's magnet, and still needs either the socket/ring, or magnetic arms, is this correct? As an aside, I've been watching a lot of reviews of the 3 & 4 gimbals lately, as I hate wasting money, and found your videos on the different products more informative and useful than anything else out there, including the actual videos made by DJI themselves. Kudos and complements.

Is there a video where you go into more detail about actually how to use the gimbal? All the buttons and such. I'm a realtor, I want to use this for the walk through. If seems I'm always locking into an object and I end up having to try and use the round direction button... any how, very new at this.
How do you adjust the slow motion settings? Do you have to do that in the app? Also you went over the time-lapse so fast in this video ... I didn't understand if you have to adjust any settings to do that?

I'm picking this over the Zhiyun Smooth 4 due to the mic input being free lol. I have a RODE Mic and cant plug it in with the Smooth 4. And this just seems overall better.
I have one question: Does the OM4 work with the Smat Battery Cases from Apple? I tend to leave my iPhone inside of the smart battery case because I need that extra battery life. And I don't like the thought of taking my iPhone out of the case just to use the gimbal. Cheers
