You would not believe how hard it was to find a good video of a Mimaki CJV series doing a custom shaped perimeter cut. Every video just shows people cutting out squares or rectangles. Thank you for making this, especially showing the weeding of the logo you cut out.
that is because mimaki is a real no sense company, with 0 respet for the client and foe money that custom give mimaky because of excesive marketing and advretising. I have 2 equipment from this company, buyed for loud reclama with mainetenance, but gues what...it is a lot of maintenance and a very complex production process with very unintuitive programs, have rip but dont have cut program...it tsi ourageous when this quipment cost 20k E....
Hi Mike, Thank you for productive and invaluable videos, wish our suppliers based in Toronto could have started similar productive series, that could have been building better relationship in term of resourcing. Plus your videos during COVID- AWESOME
Michael, hello. Thank you for your video, I have just a confirmation question. So, if the media was jammed it means that the blade depth is not set up correctly?
Im sorry I misses this. Double cut is a file issue and it can be tricky to fix. 1. Make sure there is only 1 cut line 2. If it is a compound line release and zoom way way in-if you see 2 lines delete one.

Hey Mike, what model Mimaki is that ???
Do you know how to get it to not double cut on the kiss cut? For some reason my printer goes around the cutcontour line twice causing some issue?

I had that issue, it’s because I had expanded the line in illustrator, giving me (in effect) 2 lines instead of one.
great lession
