Would you like to ask John Taylor Gatto a question?
For your question to be considered, please review these guidelines:
    1. If you are asking a question that pertains to your family and/or children, please be sure to include the gender(s), age(s), personality, and interests of each person. (If you feel the retelling of a pertinent backstory or experience would be valuable for John to know in order to offer a useful response, please include that information as well.)
    2. Don’t ask more than one question
    3. Don’t ask if you already know the answer
    4. Don’t ask him to predict the future
    5. Don’t ask rhetorical questions, or use a question to state a position or to be silly; otherwise, ask anything
Since his boyhood, John has had eclectic interests; from earliest his recollections he has been interested in everything under the
sun, but does not claim expertise in everything (if anything!); however, he is interested and willing to render candid opinions in any area one prefers (except medical advice), as long as one agrees to take his response to a question as merely a personal opinion, rendered free of charge or hidden agenda.
    Send your question to: askjohn@johntaylorgatto.com
Due to his energy limitations, every question will not be answered, but all questions are welcome.
John’s newest book release is in Summer, 2015:

Where was TH-cam with John Gatto videos when I was suffering through the immense torturous monotony of high school ?
Still, it's highly invigorating to listen to today !
And applies as much to adults who have gone through the system as it does to kids still enduring it.

There is no fundamental escape from this nightmare unless you can muster the courage to break free of institutionalism, move to Alaska with your family and stay off the grid...1984 was not fiction but a warning

There are so many valuable gems of information in this lecture. There must be a project to transcribe all the public lectures by Mr Gatto. I will volunteer time and resources

    • @gnuPirate
      @gnuPirate 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

YES ! That would be fantastic. I keep looking around for transcriptions at the end of every talk I listen to , for all the various references, and the most inspiring words in the talks, and not finding them.
I suppose much of it will be found in his books, but it's always nice to pair the inspiring parts of a speech one gets to witness with having the words on a page.
See if you can maybe get yourself funded to do it or something if you are volunteering time and resources.

Another question: does anyone happen to know the name of the man asking the question around the 53:10 mark? He looks so familiar; I'm sure I've seen him elsewhere.

Superintendents, principals, school nurses, and the librarian and secretaries, probably from the school in Benson (Texas?) he discussed in the video.

Bt summer of 2021 the control group must have figured out how to finish the command economy. By means of riots, lockdowns and mandates, they are completing their goal. Perhaps the backlash will cut them off.
