RIGHT ON YAMMIE !!!!!!! I love the trackday videos, but, I love doing trackdays. Heading to Cresson on the 14th and 28th of June. I can't wait and am starting to do stupid crap back and forth to work on the bike. Two items to think about. When you are hitting your apex it appears you are not right up beside the rumble strips. Get on over there! Get your knee up actually toward the top edge or even over above the grass. Again "it appears" your not as close as you could be. You did say your chasing "tenths". The second comes from my motocross days. You are either on the gas or on the brakes! No in between and coasting. Drive like hell to the corner, get on the brakes HARD, hit the apex and drive like hell to the next corner. Of course don't be stupid and over shoot the corner, loose the front and bust your ass. Do everything smooth and buld up gradually. Normal trackday ride about 7.5 to 8 tenths working on technique. Going for your PB, 9 tenths. Always keep something in your pocket. Hope to see you at the races

Nice video. Thanks. Love your description of dance, beauty, and effortlessness. You get it. You understand. You're one of us. You can go faster and it becomes easier at the same time.
    ● You should be able to flap your elbows mid-corner. If you can't, you have too much weight on your arms.
    ● I would also suggest downshifting a lot sooner after you apply the brake. Off gas >> brake >> downshift should take 1-2 seconds.
    ● You want to be sure to get on the brakes fast, but beware -- even though you're grabbing the brake quickly, you still need to make it a progressive pull on the lever. You must load the tire (causing fork compression and tire flattening) a bit before you're at max brake pressure. It happens very quickly but you do need to make the pull progressive so that you load the tire first.
    ● I also noticed that a couple of times, you were so focused on getting a good drive out of the first corner in a chicane that you over-accelerated and blew the entrance to the second corner in the chicane. Focus on the last corner in a chicane and get max drive out of that one.
    ● When it comes to gearing -- if you're someone who changes sprockets a lot -- you want to use the gearing that allows you to hit redline on the front straight. If you’re not hitting redline, you can drop the gearing.
    ● Can't see your body position, but a trick I used mid-corner when I'm hanging off was to think "push the bike away from me". This stands the bike up and tiny bit and causes my body to drop down and in where it's supposed to be.
    ● You seem to be in a gear too high (short shifting) in a couple of corners.
    ● Also, how come you ain't using slicks?
Tell me if I should shut up. "I ain't no blabbermouth. When my momma told me to shut up, I shut up. I ain't no blabbermouth that jes keeps on talkin' after you tol' me to shut up!" (Foghorn Leghorn) Just tryin' to help.

In one of Guintoli's recent videos he mentions that committing to full throttle is key. Seems obvious, but it does take practice.
    Congrats on the new PR.

This is way better than that max wrist street racing bs! A better way to show young audiences how to ride a bike fast in a safe environment. 🏍👌

DeathstalkeR “street racing” is one of the dumbest things you can do and anyone promoting it or making videos around it is doing a disservice to motorcycling. Thanks!

This was an amazing video. It's nice seeing a short film produced by an average joe. There's a loss in translation when you have Marquez, Rossi, or Lorenzo try to explain things because they're so in tune with their motorcycles that they skip over the small little details that they have become numb to and there's a disconnect between a normie and a professional.
