This game is very brutal. It requires you to have a plan because if you build haphazardly you will fail dramatically. My suggestions are as followed. Build the large biodome fill it with one of every plant (in the long run it will prevent malnutrition). Make airlocks near the mine(s), power fields and landing pads. I would make a stockpile near the airlocks. Make the security bunker and stock it with one of everything (maybe 2 weapons racks) Make weapons and hire guards (if one intruder invades your colony, if you have unarmed guards or no guards then said intruder can kill your entire colony. I have seen even if you lock down your landing pad). Once your self sufficient slowly expand using the large structures. Have large power and water storage , and power, water, and oxygen generation it is better to have more than you need than to find out you need more and watch as your colony falls into a deathspiral. Have significantly more food production than you need and have more meal makers than you need. It is better to have a surplus than a deficit in this game, with a surplus you have some when things get rough, with a deficite you have a deathspiral. This game will punish you hard if you are not careful and

I was hoping you'd make a series out of this Blitz. You may want to look at adding a second Air lock near the Mine so your colonists don't have to take the scenic route all the way around the base to get back and forth from it, lol.
May want to consider a back door to make things a little more effective. Also, a second power storage.. you generate plenty during day, you just need to keep more for the night.
IMPORTANT if you select a structure (already builded) you see O2 %22 it is oxygen level if it goesdown you need another oxygen egnerator near that because o2 level changes to distance between buildings

Priorities for colonist is 1'st TREADE - carying the goods to the trade ship(even if that kills them- during solar flare) 2'nd BUILDING - placing goods for construction( AI is chaotic abot that and when you place more buildings it is randomly placinig buildig materials; building materials placed for construction counts towards your available materials) 3'd ACTUAL WORK(making spares and medical suplies(if materials needed is available), tending pads, producing metal/bioplastic etc)
Perhaps the water tank ought to be closer to the Canteen and the Bio dome? Just a thought . . . and it looks like you forgot to connect your first wind turbine to the capacitor.
You should try to make something things bigger I know you trying to save resources but making things big save space and larger amounts of supplies and resources will be made later #planforthefuture
Wouldn't you want to put your landing pad as close to your airlock as possible? And once you figure out how to rotate things/they add it in, you may want to consider putting in an airlock by your mine

The class D isn't Mars-like, it's atmosphere is thicker and it seems to be closer to the sun. It's perhaps a world that didn't form life for whatever reason or had a catastrophe happen.
+Java Plays (Gaming) It's quite odd, though. You'd expect it to still be molten if it was taking this many meteors this often, even with such a thick atmosphere. Possibly the meteors are relatively new, created after some major change.

Mars would be warmer if it had an atmosphere. The zone is defined as "the region around a star within which planetary-mass objects with sufficient atmospheric pressure can support liquid water at their surfaces", and Mars falls just inside the outer edge of that zone for Sol.
