sonnypally6 Read Article 30 of the Mexican constitution if you want to get “technical”. Many are born in the US and raised visiting family in Mexico/respective country of origin throughout their lives, therefore still apart of the culture. They’re not viewed as gringos and many speak fluent Spanish. There are many examples including professional boxer Andy Ruiz (first Mexican Heavyweight Champ), Mikey Garcia, etc. who were born in the US. This gets brought up a lot by non-Hispanic Americans (which I’m assuming you are, I could be wrong) it always seems like they’re trying to label who belongs where and what labels to put on others, funny.
The thing is , there isn’t a specific way Hispanics “look”...it’s normal to see a light as well as a dark skin Hispanic so that’s why people don’t usually get so surprised when a foreigner speaks Spanish (unless they already know they’re a foreigner). As for a white person, I’d think they’re from Argentina or something lol (not to stereotype Argentinians tho)

Fam, I intend no offense, but saying you're white has no relation with you knowing how to speak Spanish or not. If you go to a Spanish-speaking country and you say "oh sorry, I'm white so I haven't mastered Spanish yet" or smh like that, well that would sound terribly ignorant, not offensive imo, just plain ignorant. I'm white and I speak Spanish, my entire family comes from Italy, German-Switzerland and Spain. Never in my life have I been confused with another nationality because I'm white. I'm from Argentina and most of us here are white so that could help, but I'm sure that if I go to Mexico, Colombia or Bolivia the exact same thing would happen. Btw good luck learning Spanish! It's a quite complex language but it also feels rewarding once you can actually speak it properly.

I know this guy (Xiaoma) does this for a living on TH-cam and there are a lot of edits and cuts of things that we can't see.... but its still SUPER impressive. At this rate he'll be absolutely fluent in 10 languages in 5 years.
Xiaoma : my Spanish is far from perfect...
Also Xiaoma : this is how I learnt to speak fluent Spanish in 20 days
小马: esto es sólo el principio
Speaking a language fluently doesn't mean speak it perfectly
fluent doesn't mean perfect lmao
i agree lol ☝🏻
He isn't fluent lol

Gracias!
Igualmente. Pero es cuba
Whats up bro I'm so happy you live in NYC. I speak English, Spanish, and Italian. Im glad you learned Spanish! Its a great language and the food and music that comes with it is amazing.
I’ve been trying to learn Spanish for a year using babble, Pimsleur, duolingo, and mango languages and you made more progress in 2 days than me in 1 year. Honestly I just give up at this point..
Don't give up!!
Those apps still teach you more than comprendes en escuela!
Duolingo has helped me a ton!! I’ve supplemented it with only letting myself watch shows in Spanish with English subtitles on. It has helped a TON so far and I’ve only been really committed to improving for the last ten days. Don’t give up!! Buen suerte :)
No, do not give up!! Keep going man! It’s worth it. Spanish is such a beautiful language and very beneficial here in the United States..
También puedes tomar clases con una maestra/o en línea. Saludos 🇪🇸
Qué gusto verte hablar español amigo.
A better way to say i’ll see you later is, “hasta luego” ;)
Facts I say that all the time instead of adiós now
Nos vemos it’s easier
I like hasta la vista baby better...
To make it better just add one more word. “Hasta luego verga”
@@Gerryatv21 lol don't make him say that
