Looking forward to seeing the journey. I personally would go the mint route if the budget allows. You've got a great low mileage one owner bike. Be a great keeper
Yes I kind of think that myself being one owner and mega low miles it's so nice not having to worry about coolant electronics ,brake fluid the only thing to remember is to mix the oil with the petrol to stop it seizing up 😜
wOw a one owner with serious low miles,,,,,fabulous that..! How did you find this beauty I wonder..? Great resto by the way.....love it..! Regards, Peter Scotland
@@carlstark6857 maybe I will be lucky mines 1981 sounds fine .thought maybe the seals would have ripped but appears to be ok . Only thing I have a slight oil weep on gear change oring .

I believe his new wife wouldn't let him ride it when they married so he kept it .
Definitely a keeper 👍
Please, can you make a video explaining how to dry the front tires on an MZ bike?
Hi hisan I'm not sure what you mean by the word dry can you elaborate please .
You can get a Honda twin leading shoe drum brake from a Honda K4, it looks the same only it has a chrome wheel rim but braking is 100% better
Maybe one day I shall have that set up
Replace the front brake
I don't want to go away from the original look of the bike , I believe you can modify the internals so the shoes have more contact with the hub
@@captbarb6642 You can, I did it to mine and they work pretty well now.
@@boredmalcontent maybe I will try the machining of the internals I want to keep the original looks
Check the main bearings 😂
Are they normally a problem or is it because it has sat around for a long time without use .
@@captbarb6642 on the early ones from new my dad had one from new had to replace main bearings due to poor quality
@@carlstark6857 what year was his
@@captbarb6642 1979 I think

Stopped listening. Too many ums.
I think maybe I should have planned what I was going to say then I wouldn't have to think and umm, sorry they do get better .
@@captbarb6642 ppl um when they need a bit of think time without risk of interruption but obv you're not in a dialogue.
