How to make up carrageenan.

My recipe/technique for making up carrageenan. I make my 'size' up a bit thicker and water down the next morning to my required consistency . I buy my carrageenan from the lovely Lynne at www.dyeman.com/

Every country has slightly different sources of carrageenan and different water, which effects the end result, so I recommend that people around the world research paper marbling courses near them or reach out to major art suppliers for recommendations.

Sure do and sometimes have to very gradually water down for paint to float and spread successfully especially in winter when everything is tight 😆. Everything tends to flow better in hot and humid months. But add extra water sparingly as you can easily over water down.

Unfortunately every country has a different supply of carrageenan which will need different amounts of water added etc. I recommend that people do their own research for the carrageenan in their own countries, look for paper marbling courses and art suppliers
