Hey Ed ! Nice shout-out for Catherine S.. I like how she gives up some good info on each artist/ band that she shows ! I like that Bow Wow Wow LP so much, I have acquired 3 as of late... One clothed, one nude, and one EP👍Man ! Delbert McClinton is so so good, and I have never seen that one ! I will listen to "Second wind" in a bit. I love the feast with George Harrison & friends ! You picked 3 tasty ones, Ed ! Haha Tracy Nelson .. I have never seen that solo title, and Mother Earth kind of passed me by.. An LA band, I believe ? I will listen to this one as well !
@@jtsrecordroom3963 Excellent, JT! I think I steered clear of the TH-cam Police as well -ha! Mother Earth was from LA: you are correct. Delbert McClinton has some good stuff out there, for sure. Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend! 😎
Best In The West Rib Cook-Off for the 3 of us, today.. And The Wailers are playing ! (Junior Marvin's band ).Have a good one as well, Ed, and I will see you again on yours..
Ed, good to get to know you, and you are entered ! The drawing will be on Sept. 29th Sunday with my son Sean doing the honors of randomly picking 3 winners.. Thank you, much !
Great entry Ed! Nice pick with George. That pick with Bow Wow Wow was brilliant. Tracy Nelson is an act I’m not familiar with. Good luck in JT’s contest!
Hey Ed. Nice entry. Big Delbert fan, his records are hard to come by. That’s a great Tracy Nelson album. Got my records ready to go for this one. You’re right, this was a tough one. Great luck in the contest. Cheers.
@vinylmartini3377 Thanks, Jack. I'm looking forward to checking yours out! That Tracy Nelson album is a desert island disc for me, no question. Whenever I see some Delbert out there, I don't hesitate😎🎶
Good luck in the contest, Ed. Jt’s a great guy and very supportive of other channels. The cast of players on the Delbert McClinton album is fantastic! I don't own any Tracy Nelson albums, so I'm going to have to check out her catalog.
@mad4vinyl802 Thanks, Mark...as are you! They are both great records. Going to catch up on your recent videos at home tonight when I do some food prep for the week. It is a beautiful day today. Enjoy the holiday 😎
Thanks, Morten! I haven't played Material World in years. As I recall, the tunes are all about embracing religion and suing your former bandmates-ha! 😎🎶
@@onmyturntable7036 Not a mile off, but I really like it and the calmer almost wall of sound free mood (Phil Spector only had his hand on one song here).
I liked seeing Arthur Alexander on the wall and his "Soldier Of Love" is a favorite. I like the Delbert McClinton album and I don't think that he ever made a bad album. Fine use of the George Harrsion album. I do have one Mother Earth album but have not heard any of Tracy's solo material.
Thanks, Randy! I picked up that Arthur Alexander comp on Ace Records in Ireland last year. Great stuff! That '74 Tracy Nelson release is worth a listen for sure. Delbert: I agree!
Hey Ed. Nice selection of vinyl that really aren't shown too often here in the VC (if at all). I mean, Bow Wow Wow followed by Delbert... who would have guessed? Solid choices all around. I too am worried about TH-cam police (it's one of the reasons I haven't featured by Houses of the Holy album yet.. a little worried for sure!). Overall, great stuff here! Cheers, Darryl.
Thanks, Darryl! Actually, I have seen other folks show the cover of Houses Of The Holy with no issue (that I am aware of). But, I understand the hesitancy. Finding images of food on LP's took some thought! 😎🎶
@@onmyturntable7036 My JT thread will be going up in the coming days. I had a heck of a time finding food albums in my own collection, but managed to get some. It was tougher than I thought it would be.
Other than the Living In The Material World album, I’m not familiar with many of the records you showed. The Tracy Nelson sounds interesting. Also going to check out Catherine’s channel. Will have a go at the contest too… cheers Ed!
Excellent! There are so few women out there talking about records, so I wanted to make folks aware of Catherine's channel. Give that Tracy Nelson LP a go: her version of Dylan's It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry is pretty great. I'll keep an eye out for your entry! 😎🎶
@@onmyturntable7036 Yeah, I really appreciate that. Also, hearing about too much stuff I’m interested in gets me spending money. It’s nice to feel safe and comfortable sometimes.

Agreed. I go through periods where I take the time to enjoy what I have, need to watch the expenses and slow down the buying of new/used stuff.
