@@thascarface There is no standard for the running of wires in walls through PVC pipe here in the US. Electrical wires on interior walls have to have a specified rated coating to them, and terminated end. You won't have a bare exposed wire in a wall. In some areas if you are running higher voltage wire you have to have a licensed electrician or contractor do the work, but low voltage wire like security system or PoE (Power over Ethernet) you usually don't. With that said there could be some municipalities that do require wires be run in conduit/PVC pipe depending on the application.

These couple did a good job with securing the cables, adding a mud ring to that coax wall plate (a lot of TV installers have that bad habit), and terminating the Ethernet cable closely to the keystone jack. I have some advice if anyone comes across this video and wishes to do this. Run all your network/coax cable to a central spot (such as a small closet), don't run cable from room to room. When possible, use a punch down tool so it makes your life easier (will cut excess cable from keystone jack and ensure contact is made with pins).
I want to take a moment and ensure Lowe's and Dremel that your mentions of their products in this video have convinced me that I need the things. Hooray for sponsorship! (And for selling things without annoying ads.)
It's on our to do list to add some usable storage space up there! 👍😁 The fluffy stuff on the floor is actually the insulation we blew a few years ago (so it's supposed to be there 😋)!
I always leave string / rope in my runs... usually enough so it can go the full way up / down in the wall... tied off somewhere or attached on both ends so you can easily find it... then if you come from the top you just pull it up as far as it will go, attach the wire, and pull it down. From the bottom you pull the string out of the wall and find the part stuck in the wall at the lowest point or connected to the box and attach the wire to that... and pull up... That way you never have to run a tool through those runs again and you don't have to undo the old wiring in order to run new.

When I watch this I get flashbacks of Evan falling through the ceiling
😂 if only we knew then what would happen!
if only he knew that just about a month later there would be a hole in the attic
they would never know that just a couple of months later evan would fall throught the roof XD
I love how funny you guys are, and your projects are so functional and/or cool looking! I can’t believe it took me this long to find your channel 😄
Thank you! 😁❤️
I want to take a moment and ensure Lowe's and Dremel that your mentions of their products in this video have convinced me that I need the things. Hooray for sponsorship! (And for selling things without annoying ads.)
You guys should make an attic video where you clean it up as your next video. Would totally be down to see all that extra *fluff* be removed.
It's on our to do list to add some usable storage space up there! 👍😁
The fluffy stuff on the floor is actually the insulation we blew a few years ago (so it's supposed to be there 😋)!
EvanAndKatelyn Can’t wait !
Nothing is more definitive than a temporary fix !
haha for real! 😂😆
Rewatching 2 months later and it was still just as hilarious as the first couple times I watched it!!
😂❤️❤️
Very nice and cleanly done. I’m a local 134 electrician in Chicago and I’d like to say you did a very professional installation.
Thank you!
12:00 the ok is the cutest thing in the world omg 🥺🥺🤣❤😣
11:53 has me crying
😭 same 😭😭😭
“I don’t need fully functional pants for this job” so many T-shirt ideas.
Lol yes. That one I actually want!

There’s a blade for that dremel tool that cuts those boxes out in one motion, super useful when doing a lot of Low voltage runs
