Question: I'm currently building a '14 103 with screaming eagle ported heads and 58mm throttle body and 5.3 injectors.would like to have a stout low and mid range performance cam would you guys use the Star 577 or a Woods 777 cam? Oh it is also running 10.5 compression pistons, thanks for any help in cam choice!!
If I had to guess I'd say about $3500-4000, depending on their hourly rate. IMO, not worth the price. I've got a 103 with intake and dual Rineharts, had it DynoJet tuned and dynoed @ 83hp/103tq Just spend the $600 and take it to a shop to have it pro dyno tuned IMO.
Can’t wait to hear it. So I just did a stage ll 447 cam to my 107 2018 ultra Limited all screaming eagle parts. Adjustable push rod tubes cam plate & oil pump S.E bearings and lifters. I’m very happy with it. Love to sound difference. Did I go wrong on doing the Harley lifters should have I gone with fueling? Oh also put the screaming pro auto tuner wide band sensors. Kept it all C.A.R.B compliant. Just in case they start smogging motorcycles here and the SoCal.
Hehmm we didn’t hear the the new cam 🤙🏼.. you did end up saying,” more coming soon”.. so I’m guessing that the sound and possibly a ride video. this got me excited… I almost thought I wanted to swap 222’s for the 577’s.

@@MrBburdick I have the exact same combo with 777 woods cam . I have a thunderheader x series pipe and it makes 114 tq and 112 hp. Great runner !
More twin cam love please! Maybe a 103 with a little more compression and head work and the 577 or 107 or 110 big bore with head work and 577
