"The Enchantments, Part I": Shooting beautiful landscapes with a Holga (and an a6500) - 4k!

- I love making videos of my trips, but they take so much time. This one took me a bit more than 7 hours, but I’m finally done. It’s a bit long - 18 minutes. I could’ve made it shorter but the main reason why I even make them in the first place is to be able to watch them in 5, 10, 20 years and remember these moments. So I wanted to include a bit more than usual.
About the hike itself: this is day 1 of hiking to the Core Enchantments, one of the most beautiful places in the Pacific Northwest. Starting at Snow Lakes Trailhead due to a wildfire that kept Colchuck Lake closed, I hiked for 8 miles (~4,500 feet elevation gain) to my campsite for the night. I was very worried about the smoke ruining the whole thing, but at the end it was just fine.
I brought two new cameras along with me! A “toy” film camera, the Holga, and a new video camera - a Sony a6500. That means this is also my first video in 4k!

Vlogging about photography (mostly landscape) and all kind of camera gear, digital and analog.
Congratulation for your video. Nice!!
Thanks Ninni! Appreciate it!
Gorgeous place!!! Great fotos!!! I would like to join you climbing this place 🤗🏔️ so beautiful
Thanks! Yeah you would love it!
With all that smoke, I’m surprised you haven’t picked up another 120 back for your Bronica to shoot IR.
I do have a second back! I ordered some IR film recently but it took a while to get here. So a bit too late for the smoke, but I'm ready for sunny fall days (if that's even a thing, I still have a lot to learn about IR photography).
aows so do I. I have another back and IR film on the way for my setup. There is a landscape photographer from the UK that has some awesome IR shots and got me to thinking I should give it a try.
Oh nice! Which photographer?
Thanks! Found him, will check him out :)
