- Contrast of Eras 1987/88-2007: Trains of the Southwest!
Compare and contrast trains videotaped from the same place but in two different eras. A shot of a Burlington Northern, Rio Grande or Santa Fe freight train, taken in 1987/88, is followed by a shot of a Burlington Northern Santa Fe or Union Pacific train taken in 2007. Notice the changes in train equipment, railroad operations and the landscape over the course of 20 years. Enjoy this retrospective of the famous Colorado Joint Line over the mountainous Palmer Divide and south to Texas. In the Lone Star state, contrast eras on the Santa Fe/BNSF Transcon in Dalhart, Higgins and Canadian, Texas.

I'm not sure I understand the question. I know that most ATSF and BN C30-7 diesels that survived wound up in Brazil.

It was a fun little experiment, but ultimately 95% of the shows in my playlist are without music. Best for silent movies or narrated documentaries.
