This community i will recommend 100% to anyone seeking an Air Bnb in Ocho Rios. My family of 6 stayed here and we loveeeeeddd it!❤ 24/7 Security and close to attractions, supermarkets, restaurants and beach.
Stayed here 10/07/24 - 24/07/24 : The property looks exactly like it does in this video. However the host service we had a few issues with, the downstairs AC unit leaked into the house for 3 days and we had to mop it up every day (leaking right next to electrical sockets) leaking so badly that the living room would have been completely flooded in two days if we didn’t have a mop. This issue was sorted after 3 days waiting, major slip hazard. On our final night in the house the electric cut out (we came back at 3pm) in the area and we didn’t have candles, no way of charging phones for lights…. House temperature went to 30 degrees and sleep was almost impossible. Host went silent when we needed a resolution to be able to see anything in the house, no candles or torches, no emergency generator just pitch black. When we returned home from our holiday we were told via text from the host that we had broken a pottery sculpture (which we did break in the dark while searching for mobile phones) and a figurine was missing (which we don’t know anything about as we didn’t see any in the house anywhere). After the power came back on in the very early morning (1:30am) all the lights powered up and the A/C in the master front bedroom would not turn back on (it’s seems like we were blamed for the A/C not working) Pool cues were broken when arriving, need replacing. The bath in the rear double bedroom leaked into the bedroom once and once only, we didn’t report it at the time. The toilets seats are thin plastic and rock around when sitting down, they are also chipped. Need replacements for good ones. Property was great, safety of the area is great but the host seems to overlook things and slow at response when real problems come up. 2/5 stars because the property was nice.

You just got a new subscriber in me. So many times in Jamaica they advertise luxury, but when you watch the videos, it’s not luxurious at all. It does not live up to the standard of luxury. This property does that and more. I’ll keep it in mind for next time I’m traveling to Jamaica. We just got back from Ocho Rios in June. I wish I had known about this property at the time.

@@jaunbonaysmith Cardiff Hall is quite safe. It is right off the highway and there are a lot of returning residents there along with many resorts. The only minus is that the roads where most of the available lots are located are pretty bad.
The fireplace is a waste. That money could have been used to buy a bigger TV for Primary bedroom or Make the bathroom more luxurious. Also downStairs lights in the ceiling isnt necessary. too much going on in the ceiling, I love the wooden accents and built in console T/V area. I did notice the outside has bag wire on the fence and the large gill doors which tells me without doubt that its not in a gated community. Overall its a beautiful place for an AirbnB

Guaranteed 90% of these units owned by very light skinned , white, chinese and indian people. Thats the REAL Jamaica.

These styles of homes looks too much like America. A confined space locking the outside out. Not very tropical with verandas, inviting the outside in.
