I think the reason why everything is so Americanized with the ring camera and the AC and all of these things is to make the tourists comfortable when they visit. Jamaicans are not afraid of heat they always had heat, also many locals don't really go to these places because they have their own place as already. However, since social media came in and showing all these lifestyles some of the locals want to feel like tourists so they go to hotels and Airbnb aso. Nice video
