    One of the best driving 'regular' cars on the market right now. It has a detuned version of the Ford Fiesta ST's engine, but there's one issue I need to tell you about...

      @@TunedIntoCars already made the decision in march and picking mine up next week! :) Only concern is build quality of the interior coming from years of VAG

    • @TunedIntoCars
      @TunedIntoCars  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, I'm not gonna lie, you will notice the (small) difference in quality, but then again, it's a bit cheaper and LOTS more fun to drive.

      @@TunedIntoCars was considering a Ceed, Golf, A class. After taking three corners at high speed in the Focus I made my decision.

    I cannot wait till I get my hands on this one
    Exact same except for the panoramic sunroof and with 18 inch wheels
    Still automatic tho but I mean, I don't go hard everytime so it's fine I guess
    Also a pro for the automatic is the copilot, really nice for long highway runs and well, also a really nice feature
    The only review I saw that actually has the same engine I bought, 150 not 182 since in my country isn't available

    I've got this with 1.5 182hp petrol manual and it feels just AMAZING. I highly recommend this combo to anyone that enjoys driving. Don't cripple yourself with an auto. It might be more convenient in traffic but it's just not as much FUN

    • @TunedIntoCars

      Yes, just what I said in the video :P

      I'm picking up mine next week. I do drive a lot in traffic jams, so an automatic would ne nice but i've chosen the 182 bhp with manual gearbox in desert island blue

    • @dimitriscsd
      @dimitriscsd 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't worry, the clutch and the transmission feels awesome so it's going to be fine in traffic jams. Worth the effort for how much you will enjoy it.

      I've driven our Vignale trim 182 hp manual estate for about 6 weeks now, and the manual gearbox and shifter are absolutely fine. Very natural and quick feeling to both the clutch pedal and gear lever. Never had to pay any attention to them.
      A tip from experience: if you want to drive as smoothly as possible and don't want to try any aggressive moves, the Eco-mode works very well. 👍

    I don't agree you about the transmission. I don't feel any shifts...?

    • @TunedIntoCars

      It was very jerky around town. Especially in stop and go traffic.

      @@TunedIntoCars with or without auto hold?

    • @TunedIntoCars
      @TunedIntoCars  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It happens when the car is moving. One example: if I start off at a traffic light and right before the car wants to shift to 2nd I back off the throttle, it still shifts gear but then it jitters the car quite hard.

    • @markyee6170
      @markyee6170 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have this exact same problem. On the open road on higher gears, there's no issues. But from the start go and low speed. There's definitely a little jerk when the gears shift. It's less noticeable on eco mode.

    • @sertacgencer
      @sertacgencer 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      QUICK UPDATE:
      I have been driving mine for almost 2000km. The first thousand was smooth bcz I drove it smooth and in eco mode. Now, I can push the throttle a little bit more and tadaaaaa! You guys are totally right. It's really uncomfortable in town and also fast pedal reactions (especially the lift off) is jerky. Last week I was driving my friend's st-line, same as mine (1.5i/clipper/18") and it has Getrag's 6 speed manual transmission. Wow what a huge difference. 8speed auto feels like 30-40hp less but it isnt. A proper software may fix it I hope.. 🤞
