I have an old model of this, bought about 7 years ago to use as a tape splitter and box cutter at work. The one I got is more the size of a sharpie (but flat), so very comfortable to carry and use. The sliding button is on the top edge. The blade is a little chipped now, but its still sharp enough to do the job. Replacements cost about the same as a whole new unit, but havent felt the need to replace yet, even though the cut is no longer quite as clean and tidy after 7 years use.
Use super glue on those cuts, the'll heal faster and cleaner! Personally I couldn't warm to ceramics. Yes, they hold an edge pretty long but aren't sharpenable and never as sharp as steel (though the new flexible ceramics look good they also cost a lot) but the biggest problem for me was the breaking. They fall, they break, you put too much force on it, they break.

That’s an great story my friend 🤟🤟
I must buy my nephew one of these. He's almost three, my sister will be so excited 😁

Unfortunately he's already lost a toe using the hammer I bought him for Christmas last year.
