    Hey Josh, good job doing all that suspension work which is dirty and even a little scary sometimes.
    Those 2 shops in Everett, I'm kind of amazed because I lived in Everett for several years and I don't think there was anything like that there at the time. There was a good alignment shop in Bellevue at one time that did good chassis and suspension work on my Talon. They put H&R springs and KYB struts on it for me, and lots of other stuff. But that shop has gone downhill since then I think.
    Thanks for showing that clip at 22:57 because I didn't know 425 was doing stuff like that either. But Speedware had an awesome shop that did high-end fabrication work on people's race cars. The guy that runs 425 was the shop lead man at the old Speedware that was in Bellevue. It looks to me like he is turning 425 into a reincarnation of Speedware, which I'm glad to see. He is the guy who told me way back in about 2005 that my Talon would be able to pass Washington emissions without a cat. I wasn't even a customer of theirs, I just called them on the phone with some questions.
    Really enjoyed the Kirkland lakeshore scenes! #family

    Really good review and install. Thank you.
    I have those on my VB. Looks amazing. Corners like it's on rails. Not overly bouncy. Unless you hit a bump or a pot hole at higher speeds. It hurts!
    They will settle quite a bit. Ride height is actually perfect. Not too low to cause scraping, but low enough to look more aggressive.
    I've had mine for about 4 months. After all said and done. Good if in a pinch. But I'm definitely going to be upgrading to full coilovers for comfort. Either the Revel Touring or Cygnus Comfort. So just a little regert.
    IDK if H&R would be better. My guess is it's not. Though both are German companies, Eibach are made in the USA!

      I did the install in about 4 hours. My springs took a little to settle to get the full 1 inch drop in ride height. I personally think this ride height is perfect and still find it challenging to scrapping over speed bums and step curbs or hills. I definitely would not want my car any lower than this. Whats the specs of the wheels and tires you are running? Did you get any rubbing or scraping? Im thinking of running 18x9.5 et 38 with these springs but Im worried it will rub after watching your video.

    • @JDMRightHandDrive
      @JDMRightHandDrive  ปีที่แล้ว

      My wheels are 18x9+35 and running some 265 35 18 tires. I had to trim my rear plastic factory over fenders. I dont have any scrapping issues. If the car was lower +38 would work better and maybe a 255 max tire width.

    Would you recommend getting the adjustable toe arm for the rear? What about an adjustable front swaybar end link? I see many of the coilover kits come with one.

    • @JDMRightHandDrive
      @JDMRightHandDrive  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If I could redo it, I would install the toe arms at the same time. Nick was still able to get the alignment into spec with the stock toe arms though. He just said for this set up it would have made sense to get the toe arms for the best suspension geometry and that the oem ones left us somewhat limited. Good question and thanks for watching.

    Hey man, just installed these on mine as well as blox lca in the rear. I’ve noticed some clunking in the rear on speed bumps and the dip in my driveway, I righted everything while under load n not sure what’s causing it. Did you have any issues like this after install?

    • @JDMRightHandDrive
      @JDMRightHandDrive  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Mine does not make any clunking sounds. I see those BLOX arms have poly bushings, so I dont think they are making any extra noise. I am not sure what would be causing it. Good luck, I hope you get it sorted out.

    Just curious now about a month later any updates on ride quailty with factory struts and ebiach springs? simlair to stock ride? bumpier? stiffer? etc.

    • @JDMRightHandDrive
      @JDMRightHandDrive  ปีที่แล้ว

      After a month and the springs have had time to break in and settle a bit, I think the suspension feels awesome. It feels more planted with high speed handling. It feels less bouncy on the freeway too. I would say that maybe it feels slightly stiffer at low speeds over bumps. But overall it is much better compared to the oem suspension. My plan was to buy HKS coil overs later on, but I am perfectly happy and will be keeping my Eibach springs on my car.

      @@JDMRightHandDrive awesome I’ve had them in the past on other cars and tend to agree I like eibach springs, I was wondering if it was worth to buy some coil overs but to me I just don’t see the value in it I’ll never track or auto cross the car personally… so I guess springs for me it will be, I was trying to wait out for a company to make after market struts with some dampening capabilities but seems like that’s gunna be a while still…
