I love your videos! So happy to meet Bailey! Do you ever go to places like casinos to park your Rv in towns? We have a 42’ fifth wheel and aren’t equipped for off the grid for very long. Contemplating putting solar on top so we can go more places but hate driving such a long rig down some of those roads!

Spring? February is not spring. At least not in Canada. February is when the snow and cold is just getting to it's crazy peak.
It isn't spring till about the 21st of March
My kitty HATES traveling and gets car sick. Hope this kitty doesn’t have that problem. Kittys beautiful!

QUESTION: How do you get your mail when you are traveling? Some people get medication regularly through the mail. How would they get their medication when they are traveling? Enjoy your sabbatical and your new kitty.
That is a very good question!
There are several mail services like America’s Mailbox and through Escapees, etc.
I have a mailbox service in Oregon… whenever I’m going to be somewhere for a few days and I can receive mail, I will call them and they’ll tell me what’s in there and send it to me wherever I am, however I want it sent (overnight, ground, mail, etc)
Some places have certain requirements like a residential address, voters card etc. ie, “proof of residence” before they will rent you a box (with a street address and #, not a P.O. Box), so to not miss critically important paperwork, I definitely use this for the IRS and vehicle registration… things you don’t want to miss.
That was several years ago that I started, and with the amount of roaming people now, it might be different?
Also with the amount of mobile people, Amazon now has lockers in various drugstores and retail outlets for people to pick up packages there, something that was not widely available more than 5 years ago.
(But you can’t have your mail sent to those… still need to interact w someone.) 😬
Research "Where to Domocile" and it will give you all kinds of information. The Escapees page has a lot of information on the domiciling and the mail.

I am suddenly single after my wife died. Next Spring I plan on doing my dream of a lifetime and travel by RV with my 80 pound dog. If you had to do it all over again whiich type of RV would you do it in? A converted van, small RV, bigger RV, Teardrop? I've considered all of them and on the fence. I have never stayed in an RV ever. Have a great sabatical! Found your channel this year and love it.
