- I always start these makeup videos by saying that I am most definitely not a makeup artist, just someone who has managed to create a flattering look on myself that I think works for others.
In this video I run through my current makeup obsessions and best buys to put on your Christmas wish list whilst applying my favourite makeup look for the party season. Nothing sparkly just flattering on someone my age.

Thanks Nadine, great video as usual. It’s so refreshing seeing make up being done on a ‘normal’ face though I always think you look fabulous. I’ve given up with eye makeup as my eyes are just naff, I can’t see any eyelid at all now. I get creasing of shadow and eyeliner ends up everywhere. Like the look of the shadow sticks though x

Nadine...video suggestion...please forgive me if you have already done this...I would love to learn about which products I SHOULD NOT USE together. (For example, I just used Good Genes lactic acid for 1/2 an hour before bed, washed it off because I have very sensitive, dry skin...so now...what can I apply after? Do I use peptides or antioxidants, other than C, before I go to bed?) I think a video about combos of ingredients or products could really help women like me, who want to use the best of everything but don't want our faces to fall off lol....love your videos and love listening to you!

Nadine, please can you a do a video looking at the at home laser gadgets that are on the market. I've seen Lyma, Tria & Nira, but there may be more. Was just watching Wayne talking about the Tria. I'm very tempted to try one, but it's a lot of money if they don't work lol. Thanks, Emma x

She looks gorgeous cause she doesn't run around 50000 kids and grandkids with husbands and gardens. Easy as that, choosing YOU when it comes to preferences, needs, wants, obligations etc. No excessive sacrifice :) Good old classic selfish beauty rules and nothing wrong about it: she rests/sleeps well (when she has a chance), eats smart food and takes good sensible care of herself... Don't you, Nadine? :)
You need to try Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara, it was recommended to me by a local make up artist and it’s fantastic! Great volume and no smearing

Hope you don’t mind me asking, do you know a good dupe for Laura Mercia mineral powder really annoyed to find it’s discontinued tried lots of others to no avail , the porcelain was just the right yellowish tone most others have pink tone and as you said years ago when you used to use it it’ had a glow .

I tried it. I like it but be aware it's greasy and it feels greasy and heavy throughout the day.
Is there a mascara that leaves the lashes soft mot crunchy or does that completely defy the point of what mascara is....I'm so tiered of crispy lashes. Xxxmaxine

The Eborian BB and CC creams all oxidize a lot on me. I simply turn orange. Very sad because they're good products. Haven't found any way to avoid it, maybe it have something to do with my skincare products?

Lots of great advice and inspiration as always. I’m going to get some of those eye wands, just looked so easy and effective! Do you think your runny nose could be rhinitis, I had the same and it was cleared up by using a mometasone nasal spray prescribed by my doctor. Funnily enough it started at the same time as my perioral dermatitis, I know you’ve said you suffer with this, I wonder if there is any link? Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and thank you for all of your helpful videos throughout the year! X
Is the Beauty Pie powder the same as the Pat McGrath under eye powder? Beauty Pie isn’t in Germany, sadly, but it would be a much better price point! x
That's really weird because my nose (and sometimes eyes too) runs when I'm doing my makeup. I never even considered allergies but that would totally make sense!

The huda full coverage foundation stays on your nose but for me it’s too full coverage. The fenty eaze mixed into your cc/tint/surrat is pretty stay put. I mix it with Fenty with Charlotte tilbury light wonder on fuller coverage days.
I’m a little surprised that you don’t appreciate that women are not only warm toned but cool toned as well. The peach based blushes like NARS Orgasm tends to look better on warmer toned skins. Yes- the majority of the world is warmer toned like you - dark eyed with dark hair - but we cool toned ladies with light eyes look better in pinks, Roses and berries.

The Chantecaille is not only ridiculously expensive it is only has a 15 SPF. What is that?
I really wanted the Lancôme concealer but they didn’t have a pink toned shade. Really disappointed
I finally figured out why my nose always runs when I start to put on makeup-allergies. Getting makeup near your tear ducts and eyes always triggers an allergic response in the sinuses, if you have hay fever like I do.

I have both Chantacaille tinted moisturizer and Dew Drops. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY
