It's been a hot minute between trout fishing sessions but just before I left for Australia to live I teamed up with Jeremy who you've seen in videos before to hit the flats to chase some big Brown Trout & Redfin Perch.. But it didn't all go to plan..

Man you have the best places to fish. Just wondering if you sharpen your hooks. I use a fine diamond stone and then a ceramic stone and maybe the glossy magazine covers to clean the micro steel dust if I am feeling energetic. Even if they say the hooks are sharp and they could be.

Whilst tieing fly's and get stung by a hook I know it's sharp even if it says it isn't. A few rubs on the hook sides and finish of with a hypodermic point on the outside top bottom of the hook so it doesn't dull or bend over.
