"Bill Watkins, 6" is one of my favorite panel in the manga. It's just SO unexpected, you cant help laughing
I am also very surprised because next episode was supposed, imho, to be a perfect mid-season conclusion, however they switched some chapters. I think last episode of this first half will be one of the "Extra Chapters" that they skipped and this one will be the true "story" last chapter until the break.
@@Camuska it will probably have the date between Yor and Loid or the aquarium chapter. BUT they have to end this part of the season with the first scene we see bond in.

This whole episode made me laugh so hard because of the kids acting like kids, of course, the kid that is like "6" sounding so manly and the way he said Daddy, Yor's Training with Anya, and of course the match itself that ends with over the top melodrama, the references to DBZ, and Anya's Ultimate Shot, it was absurd but GODLY Absurd. This episode was so worth it. Best of the year anime imo XD
Such a good episode. They went above and beyond giving training arcs that weren't in the manga and making Bill sound 40 years old in a 6 year old's body was hilarious.

This whole episode was hilarious but when that big kid with the deep voice said "DADDY", I lost it. LOL
Gotta give props to Loid, he's the only one who didn't believe in the rumor that you can get a stella from the dodgeball match. I'm sure if it came from a nore credible source, like Mr. Henderson announcing it himself, I'm sure he would be at the gym trying to stack the deck in Anya's favor.
THIS EPISODE WENT SO HARD. I loved the chapter in the manga but the animators really went all in.

Animators went into this so hard. Apparently in the manga this part is pretty short too. See Hollywood? This is how you subvert expectations. Meditating under a waterfall? Under a shower works in a pinch. Climb sheer cliffs? Monkey bar gym.

Well, i believe that Anyas parents didn’t drop her in an orphanage, the common theory is that cientists kidnapped Anya to experiment on her, so maybe they were killed. We don’t know nothing about them lol. Also, great video keep up the great work.
Wasn't Anya born with her telepathic powers because of experiments? Maybe Anya's mother was the subject of those experiments while Anya was in utero, and that had an unexpected effect on Anya's development?

@@Bloodredtyrant All that has been stated in the anime and manga is that Anya received her powers by accident. It was an unintended consequence of research experiments conducted by a certain organization. (These are the words that were used in the manga and I believe they used the same in the anime.)
Or her parents are the scientists.

They added so much more compared to manga, which I love. Anya’s training arc made her relationship with Yor much better. It was very wholesome.

regarding anyas back story, I think you should revisit first episode
but in any case Tldr from 1st episode (not that manga has revealed anything more) is: we know nothing about her birth parents but she was "created by accident by certain scientific organisation" and later escaped their facility
she was not left in the orphanage she just ended up there after escaping (also that was not the first orphanage she was in)

this episode was truly one of my fav anime episodes ever. i was dying the whole time. Damian and his friends training on the playground was also the cutest thing in the world.
It’s implied that Anya’s parents died. (Presumably in the last war between Ostania and Westalis). It’s not confirmed, but Loid suspects it and Anya cries at the meer mention of her real mother.

Huh, so i guess the Short Chapters can at least be expected to be adapted into a Episode, alongside a Official Chapter, which should be expected, since the Short Chapters are called Short for a reason.
Also, it really seems like, based on the Number of Chapters that this Arc has and the Number of Episodes that are left for this First Cour, that there will only be Single Chapter Episodes from here on.
