I've only heard good things about this pre-poo from those who have to pre-poo before shampooing. I've noticed when I go 2 weeks in between wash day a pre-poo is needed because my hair is super tangled verses when I wash weekly. Great video 👍🏾
I’ve been using this for a few years and I like it a lot. Idk what happened but it seems like the price went through the roof out of no where. I started using white people conditioner and water instead as my pre shampoo. It does a great job at loosening up dried in gel and products.

I’m glad you mentioned how you need something cleansing to really clean it out because I tried a similar product with similar ingredients, the Curl Peace Detangling Treatment, and I ended up returning the product because I felt like it took a bit to just clean the product off my hair and I don’t want to do more than two cleanses and depending on the cleanser not more than one cleanse so I just use my Giovanni 50:50 Balancing Conditoner if I need to get knots out before cleansing. I get 33.8 oz of it for $12.99 at Marshall’s/TJMaxx and it’s so clutch honestly. It also rinses CLEAN which I love whilst still being very detangling and smoothing.

Went to five stores today and scored three at the last store. 😊 I used the product on my daughter's hair today that has been in braids for three months. LOVED IT!! Seriously, the tangles and knots melted.
I've heard great things about this pre-shampoo. I, personally, have never tried it BUT I haven't came across anyone that hasn't liked it. I've also heard that like you said, if you apply it and let it sit for a few minutes, 5 the max, the tangles aren't there anymore or are just so much easier to get through. And I have to say, you say you have blisters, but I did notice when your break outs were worse, your pigmentation on your hands especially around the knuckles, were darker but in this video, THEM HANDS LOOKING GOOD!!!! I'm glad that they're clearing up for the most part but no rushing back to the salon. You have to take care of YOU before you can take care of someone else. You know that already though..TFS!
Yeah I get blisters all over my hands and fingers then they dry, crack, split, and peel so it creates scarring and hyperpigmentation from the healing. It takes about 2 months to start looking normal again. I hope it doesn't get too bad. It's even cause me to develop dermatitis in my beard area and I had to get a prescription and shave my beard down unfortunately. It's been a lot more to deal with than most ppl know. It was a really great feeling being in the salon and just feeling the sensation of washing hair and styling again. Even if only just for one time.

I know it does to you bc being in the salon/doing hair is your PASSION! I REALLY hope that w.e. treatments you come across really helps working so you can get back to your love!!!!

Hey Narada I love that pre poo it is phenomenal! Friend I don't know where you've been because people have been using that for like 2 years! It's a gem! I wish it was more accessible though. You can't find it on the ground hardly anymore and if you do your lucky! Instead what I have been using is the Just for me curl peace detangling treatment. They are cousins but the just for me one has better ingredients. It melts the tangles the same and defines the curls like a dream!

WALGREENS!!! Even in a store that has a minimal African-American stock (the ones located in areas that are primarily Caucasian households)…I just found it and found out about it! I’m biracial and this isn’t usually a problem or something I’ve needed…even with natural hair down to my back. (My stylist is amazing and helped me grow it out naturally. I’ve been with her for 20 years and we also now have tons of products available for mixed chicks!) I’m unfortunately homeless and living out of my Jeep. I usually wash my hair once a week and then blow dry/flat iron it year round (except the summer when I’m going to the beach/pools, or just lazy). I haven’t washed my hair in like 6 weeks now and I also need a trim desperately (like I said, my stylist is literally the only one who can touch my hair, but she’s just getting back from being off from Breast Cancer and I don’t have the finances to do it now), it’s something I’ve never experienced in my life so I’m going to try it out and pray!!

I love the shampoo, leave in and curling cream from this line. I hated the conditioner but I’m interested in trying this too. My store didn’t have it at the time that I initially purchased but I think I might try this.

I usually use a regular rinse out conditioner as my pre poo (Tresemme or Suave) but I have used African Pride and it’s not a bad product. It’s hard to find around here. Stores that carry African Pride usually don’t carry the entire line, or they’re always out of it. The Korean beauty stores have it and they are a last resort for me.

Yessss I love this pre-poo detangler. ❤️I agree about the shampoo and conditioner too. I love using the shampoo on a weekly basis but if I’m coming out of a protective style I definitely would use something else. The conditioner from that line did nothing for my hair 🙄
This pre-poo is it!👍🏾 I started using it a few months ago and I'm very happy with it. I also use the AP Five Essential Oils. Great combo of oils, none of which irritate my scalp.
I Love this product. I don't struggle to detangle my hair so I only use it when my hair is badly tangled, which really puts it to the test and it does wonders... seriously. And I absolutely have to use it if I use the mask cause my hair "HATES" the mask, the mask makes my hair feel drier then before, like it takes the softness from the prepoo away. I want to stop using the deep conditioner but I hate wasting haha

Be careful. I purchased this about 2 months ago, and it caused excessive shedding. I only kept it on my hair for the detangling process, which only took about 15 mins. It did make my hair very soft, but the hair loss was shocking. Once I stopped using this pre-poo, my shed hair while washing my hair returned to normal. My hair normally can tolerate coconut oil and aloe vera gel, so I was shocked that I lost so much hair. I used it twice. I have two jars left, but will have to throw them away.
I love love love this product! Its one of my staples❤ I was using keracare's pre poo before this but I find this product works much better with my hair 😊

The shampoo and conditioner work good but they should include a two step shampoo process with the first being a clarifying shampoo.

Be careful. I purchased this about 2 months ago, and it caused excessive shedding. I only kept it on my hair for the detangling process, which only took about 15 mins. It did make my hair very soft, but the hair loss was shocking. Once I stopped using this pre-poo, my shed hair while washing my hair returned to normal. My hair normally can tolerate coconut oil and aloe vera gel, so I was shocked that I lost so much hair. I used it twice. I have two jars left, but will have to throw them away.

I love love love this product! Its one of my staples❤ I was using keracare's pre poo before this but I find this product works much better with my hair 😊
