You know the partner push looks funny (and it is slightly funny feeling but super fun), but it is a great way to build anti-rotational core strength. The point is to be able to resist forces acting on you...so you drive as hard as you can into the wall as your partner pushes you to force your core to engage harder and resist being pushed! :-) Of course, you don't want to push so hard that you push your partner over...unless you've declared war :-P
