I am definitely making the short and the midi dress!! I love this pattern so much, if there’s an occasion I can wear the long dress you bet I’ll be making all 3!
My prom was my JR year of High School... oh man, I feel so old now. So it was May 2002. My school did a Senior Dinner Dance that was a semi formal as to prom being formal. My prom dress was big ball gown with built in petti coat made of layers of tulle. While my dinner dance dress was more form fitting.
Very excited to see the end results, they look really cute so far! Also hope that you get to do that black one you had illustrated too, since it’s a really cute idea 😍 Also low-key random, but appreciate that included the arm hole bit while draping, cuz I know FOR SURE I would have forgotten all about that too, so if I do use this video as a reference for draping it will be a good reminder x)
I think I'd like to sew this in a jewel tone green stretch velvet for the bodice (no gathers) and do the tiers in a sheer green over the green velevet lining.
Hey I was just wondering which difficulty both dresses are? Bc I am a advanced beginner and would love to make this but scared my skills are still to basic 🥺
Did you get your mannequin custom made for your measurements? I would LOVE to drape my clothes, it would be so much easier but I have way bigger bust/hips than standard mannequins :(((
I’m a beginner in sewing (never touched a sewing machine) but I’m so confused how did you get the first piece (prototype) to be shaped to your breast like that.. I wanna make my own garment for graduation but I’m struggling
I love your work but try not to waste too much fabric when draping even if it's just a cheap one. You don't want to create all these scraps just to put them in the trash! Keep up the good work

This is the perfect pattern for this year!! I want a wedding guest dress like the blue and I can’t wait to get the pattern
The black sketch you drew is the best version in my opinion. It gives ghotic princess vibes. Love it
The pink one is literally my dream dress, i'm so excited for this pattern to come out!

I‘m too old for prom and where I live it doesn‘t exist but I loove these videos ☺️
my prom theme is once upon a time so this is perfect
Can't wait to make one of these beautiful dresses 💜
I would probably do the short version of the dress you drew, maybe with the corset details, because it’s the most casual, but still flouncy and fun.
Beautiful so far. Love the color.

Do you have a video on how you create your designs on paper or on illustrator??
I feel this dress, I'm also tired 😂
you are so talented🫶🏻✨
How do you prototype with knits? Is there a knit muslin?
16:10 what was the other brand you got from? :) also how did you fix the shoulder straps? Since they were slightly falling off.
The two places I bought from were fabric wholesale and online fabric store! And I changed the angle that the straps were
@@KianaBonollo thank you! The draping tutorial was really helpful ❤️

Could you make a video showing the pattern layout online its blurry for me and confusing because you show to different layouts one with more pieces
The first black is giving Wednesday prom

Does anyone know when this pattern is coming out????
Tomorrow! I believe she said in TH-cam shorts
Are there any good online fabric websites for Canada? Fabric Wholesale looks like it’s only US
The other store I used was online fabric store!
@@KianaBonollo thank you!
What would you do if the real body is bigger than the mannequin? Im getting fat 😅
