Jaiden perfectly captures how zany and fun the game is, especially with the jam packed story. This and it’s sequel, Fossil Fighters Champions are severely underrated
Fossil Fighters is honestly such an underrated series. They were never the best games ever, but the OG game was honestly way ahead of its time in a lot of ways.
I definitely think you should react to her "What my trip to Japan was like" video. Know ahead of time: There's a MASSIVE ear-death moment when she mentions a Pokemon based on a god.
I love this game. I got it for like $5 at GameStop and loved it. Duna was always my favorite character and I thought the hip-shaking magic of the Digadig tribe was super funny. If you get the chance to play it at some point, I totally recommend it.
They're called Vivisaurs because they're dinosaurs that have been reVIVed. It's a funny joke. Anyway I loved this game, and its' sequel Fossil Fighters Champions, a lot as a kid. Still have the DS games.
There are three games, and I personally think that the second one is the best one in the series. The third one was a disappointment, as they took out many dinosuars from the first two games, making it have less than the first game, and the fact that it became more like pokemon, as you can find dinasours outside and don't need to dig them up for the most part. Plus the fact that you don't dig by yourself, but instead need to drive a car all the time takes the fun out of it, and the fact that you need a specific dinasour starter in order to even continue the main story is something that turned me off from the thrid game. I don't know why they changed a lot of things, but I think there is a video explaining why on TH-cam. I have a lot to rant about the third game, and sad that there will never be a 4 game ever created because I think the 3rd one had low sales.
@@theduckgoesmoo Yeah and it had the highest budget most likely being a 3DS game, they went all in on risky ideas and it probably doomed the franchise. They also more or less ruined the combat by having forced AI teammates that choose their moves for you, reducing a lot of the strategy and potentially ruining fights. The 3v3 battle mechanics of fossil fighters are a little confusing for kids i'm sure but they didn't have to simplify it that hard to where theres barely any game left.
Champions is definitely the best game in the series, and I especially loved the bonus unlockable vivisaurs in the postgame, like Zongazonga himself and Tonzilla.
Fossil Fighters and Fossil Fighters Champions was probably my favorite game on the DS. I probably replayed the first one over a dozen times and the sequel, I would finish the game wait for a week or so and start a new game. As for the third one I played it once. I was barely able to finish it and the only reason I did was because I loved the series (I almost completely quit the game a few times and even stopped playing it for a month) and wanted to at least finish it once since I doubted, they would make another one.
14:58 its not about being special "everyone and everything in life is just a distraction, and if you manage become someone, anyones distraction, even for a moment that means your a good one"
The Most Underrated Game Ever in my eyes is Spider The Video Game (PS1), it's really good and the soundtrack is killer while oddly not feeling like a PS1 game ost, it feels to me more older.
This game reminded me of a DS game which I played called Spectrobes. Where you explore planets, dig up fossils and minerals with basically the same process as this, then take two of them into an arena running around and spamming their attacks with the L and R buttons. Unfortunately my DS is kinda beat p and it's nearly impossible to play the 2 games of the series that I have.
Ok this game was and still is my childhood to this day the second game is also really good but the third game not so much, i still have my OG save from when i was 10 yeah and well i have the perfect team to thats is unbeatable with my team being at max with perfect red fossils not joken it was a task.
A few recommendations I have are "the hardest mario game ever". "I attempted a speed run (and Got a world record)". And "speed running rhythm games are hard"
13:45 Wow, following up a Chuggaaconroy shoutout with a ScottFalco shoutout. Well, I suppose now's as good a time as any to throw in a ScottFalco recommendation. He has 3 major series you can check out. "Side a salt" is his animated review of video games. A good place to start with those would be his Zelda ones, I suppose. "Totally Legit Speedruns" are his animated comedy takes on (at the time) world record video game speedruns. If you do watch those and get confused by what is happening, he has breakdown videos that will pause at points in the animation to explain what glitch or trick is being referenced in the game. They're arguably my favorites from him, even without the context of the original game. I would recommend starting with his Totally Legit Pokemon Gold Speedrun if you were to start those. Finally, something that started in 2020, his...Dry Docs. I actually had to look up what he calls these things. These are actual speedruns of his that he edits down and narrates over in a very dry, deadpan voice, while spitting some of the best damn poetry you've ever heard (not even a joke, dude's got rhymes and alliteration for days, it's insane). A good one to start on those would be his "A Super Mario Sunshine Speedrun but L is REAL," as it actually best exemplifies exactly what I just mentioned. Wasn't expecting to drop that all here, but there you go.
Last I checked, there are 3 Fossil Fighters games. I managed to beat the first and second, but I got stuck on the final boss of the third game. Haven’t gone back to it, but I really should.
Dude, you're amazing, and you spend a lot of time to make your fans happy. Make sure to give some of those good vibes to yourself because you certainly deserve them!
I’m glad you think so! Thank you so much for the kind words and for watching! Also I hate the word “fans” I don’t have those, I call you either “friends” or “viewers”
Man I loved fossil fighters! I got stuck on the pyramid level because I couldn't figure out the puzzle to get out, so I ended up sweeping the rest of the game with my rank 12 dinosaurs. The sequel Champions is a personal favorite of mine, replayed it dozens of times. I unfortunately lost my copy of the original but I still have the sequel. I have not touched the third game and apparently it's not too great.
The third game forces you into a car when outside the towns gave all the vivosaurs dull designs or redesigns you can only use one vivosaur in battle because you are forced to take 2 NPCs with you so two of your turns are ai based. The original developer had shut down before production even started so they had a mobile game developer make it. Despite it being a 3DS game it had less vivosaurs than the first game an out of nowhere dragon, wild vivosaurs for some reason and you could revive a vivosaurs with any body part also completely changed combat and just as a whole made the game worse.
Jaiden has sooo many good videos that its hard to recommend just one. Any of the Pokemon videos or other game video she did are all great. Pokemon Ranger was a fun one so was "I attempted a speedrun world record" or something aimilar to that title.
You should react to her Animal Crossing video. You don't need to know anything about Animal Crossing going in, cause I don't play AC and I thoroughly enjoyed it
Man, why is it every time I hear about Fossil Fighters, I think of another DS game that my friend got me into long ago, that I hear no one talk about. I don't even remember its name anymore. Maybe I'll update this comment if it ever comes to me. Edit: It's Spectrobes! I knew the DS card looked familar but I had to watch Gameplay to fully remember.
I really want you to watch these 3 Videos: 1: Felix the Cat: The Movie - Nostalgia Critic 2: Sabersparks: What the HELL is Joshua and the Promised Land? (The WORST Animated Movie Ever) (If you don't know what Saberspark is he's another Movie reviewer. 3: Rapsittie Street Kids: Believe in Santa - Nostalgia Critic
Hm, i would like you to react to JaidenAnimation The Anime, but since it’s a pretty short video why not also watch the Video about her Trip to Japan alongside it.
6:49 as a pro dino cleaner that triggered me and yes she ruined it badly and the game is not that hard to emulate either i saw some one emulate it on there phone so its easy
@@theduckgoesmoo lol nope i played this game to the max and all that she did really ruined completely i think she scored a 75 out of 100 at best on it maybe a little less but mostly need 50 out of 100 to pass unless if its a test then yeah u have to be perfect
not flossing at a funeral may be sound advice for this generation and the previous one but the next generation is all about fortnite so when they kick the bucket for the generation after them if they dont floss at a funeral it would be considered rude
Ok this might be a weird request but seeing what ur next reaction will be id suggest you check out smg4s latest upload (from the time this comment was made) i think you'd enjoy it
