Thanks for the info. I tried to replace the belt with out replacing the tensioner and ended up breaking the tensioner, quick trip to O'Reilly's to get the new tensioner. It looked like you had a lot more room removing that top bolt on the tensioner 😅. It was a slow process but got it done. Thanks again for the video it was a lot of help.

For a regular person this is impossible. First it's in a very very tight spot. You will not get your tool in there. 2nd if the bolt is rusty good luck breaking it free. Most likely the engine has to be dropped to get the right bolt off.. trust me

I replaced the tensioner on my 2017 Infiniti QX60. Very similar to this. The left bolt was easy to reach from the wheel well but there was no way for me to reach, see, or even feel the right bolt from the wheel well. I had to approach the right bolt from above after removing the coolant tank. Fortunately both bolts were very easy to release. Installing the new belt was quite difficult using a ratchet as I could not get enough leverage to open the tensioner all the way. I had to remove the oil filter to use a longer breaker bar.

Great video! How long did it take you to change the tensioner?
