Lol looked easy like it should Pro Mechanic here did all the steps you performed My Axle won't come out because Bearing stuck in Carrier. I just wanted make sure I was removing necessary parts. Yes I removed Bearing Retainer off carrier . sprayed Lubricant around Bearing both sides let it soak in. This is Arizona Car the environment in Phoenix doesn't cause Excessive Rust like Midwest or Eastern States. I'll follow up let everyone know what I had to do remove Right Front Axle Assembly Incase your Axle didn't come out nice like in the Video on 4wd 2015 Pathfinder.
you welcome sir ❤️ ... make sure that maybe the axle was in your car is longer ..If it doesn't come out .. remove steering knuckle and use a hammer 🫣🤫🔨
Sorry, Is this a 2014? Because I have a 2014 and nissan, just sold me the replacement, but it does not have that bracket on it those 2 bolts that you bolt onto the differential. They said it does not have bolts on either side. So I'm curious what year this one is you are working on thank you!
Most cars have a carrier bearing on the right side axle that bolts onto the subframe. There is no circle clip on the end of the splines holding it into the final drive inside the transmission.
No way in hell. Not enough money to pay me to do this. I'm getting over $100 just for a pad slap. On some cars over $200 for pads and rotors. Gotta pay me $500 to go through all of this 😂😅🤣
yeah don't do this (yanking out the axle). the bearing may be seized to that internal carriage support causing the axle to just come apart with a horrendous mess. bad advice
The bearing support (if the bearing is seized to the housing). The entire bracket has to come off of the block. About seven bolts and a section of the exhaust has to come off. Once those seven bolts come off there are two locating dowels that require the bracket to be rotated and leveraged out just right in order for the to bracket to come off. Once out hit it with a lot of penetrating oil and very slowly apply force with a hydraulic press. A machine shop can help with the press if you don’t have one. Once separated drive out the one locating dowel which was sticking up the whole thing. Go inside the bearing Carrier and polish and lightly ream out the inside of the housing and apply light antiseize so you never have to go through this again. When reinstalling the axle, be careful with the front differential seal. This is a great time to replace that fluid thanks to all the access created.

Do I need to remove this axle to access bank 1 sensor 2? The long axle block the sensor. Sorry for this unrelated question.

This is driver side, should there be a lot of play when you move this around? Or should it be solid with no movement?
