- Two veterans of South Africa's biggest parties, Mathews Phosa (ANC) and Douglas Gibson (DA) speak to #Newzroom405's Xoli Mngambi about the country's political landscape. This is ahead of the seventh parliament sitting set to get underway tomorrow. They share their views on the government of national unity.
Phosa: It's a uniting centre of power. These parties all got votes and were entrusted by their voters to harmonise those votes into one government based on certain principles, believing in the constitution, rule of law, separation of power, economic growth and job creation in this country. Those are common things they must agree on. They have no business behaving like little boys and girls.
Gibson: It's a moment that fills me with joy and happiness because for years SA has been going downhill. Every aspect of life has deteriorated since [Jacob] Zuma became president, so this is a new opportunity for SA to change course."

No one can save corruption , only citizens with good value system , who is the enabler of corruption the free market , business until we address this side of coin , we will find ourselves constantly debating corrution .A business sector without a value system is the problem .We stop denbating corruption as if its ANC MATTER , read the Zondo report and see who the enablers are , and we are silent as citizens .

If mines are nationalized, there is a possibility for tax to be reduced up to zero percent.

Totally agree. The sad part is that their arrogance and greed for power leaves the general public in such an abhorrent state. That greed makes all these so call leaders (little to no true leader in this country) blind to the consequences of their actions.
