In this video we buck up the birch we cut on the top side of the woodyard and get it split and stacked #firewood #freewood #woodsplitter #newholland #woodyard #maine
Thanks Eric! I'll let Phil know I need a couple days off lol. Finger is doing alot better than I expected so he might not think I need the time off. We always laugh...have to to get through the day! Take care!
You 2 are some hard workers. There is always something that needs done. There is nothing easy about having a wood yard. That birch sure cuts nice and looks good. It is pretty and I am sure makes a great fire pit or fireplace fire. We don't have any of it in southern Ohio, that I know of. I feel your pain Karen, that hurts.
So funny how Phil says people don’t want birch. In Alberta birch is considered the premium wood and you pay a premium price. Pine and spruce is the most common home heating wood here.
There are injuries that come with working up firewood. Nice job hangin in there, Karen. The other day I drop a fair sized round that hit me right on the shin bone. ouch.... Birch is kind of an in between wood for me . I don't sell kit with my good wood. So I pretty much keep the birch for myself. Like all of it, as long as it is good and dry it burns nicely. Thank you, both.
Thanks Larry. Injuries definitely go along with the territory. we try to keep them to a minimum lol. We usually don't send out a lot of birch, worst case we can burn it in the shop
Glad your finger is ok Karen. For a minute there I thought you were going to show Phil what finger it was with his comments!😂 Love the look of Birch. We don’t see any in our area. Take care you two👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Todd! Lol, trust me, I showed him my finger up close...several times! haha We have birch all over up here, but not alot of it usually ends up in the firewood. It is really pretty though. Take care!
Never have cut or burned any birch before none around here Sure looks like it cuts and splits nice 👍 I run a 660 but my buddy Brayton’s 500i will cut just as fast and is much lighter We picked up a old Ford F600 dump truck and plan on putting it to good use this fall and winter Keep up the great videos 👍
Thanks, the birch does really split nice. Still don't have my truck back so I'm looking around for something. Being without a truck does not work at all. I'd like to pick up a dump truck just so we could go in two different directions with deliveries. Thanks for watching!
Bless your heart Karen. You’re a trooper 👍🏻. By the way, you must be applauded for maintaining your composure given Phil’s rather brave remarks 😂 Phil, I’d like to know where you get the 2x4 brackets for your pallets at. I’m going to start going in that direction.
lol, thanks Mark! I can maintain my composure, but I showed him that finger up close and personal if you know what I mean! The pallet brackets we had made at McCann Fabrication in New Gloucester, Maine. Their number is 207-926-4118 if you want to get in touch with them. Thanks for watching as always Mark, take care!
Not a fan of birch myself. I have some in my wood stacks because beaver cut them down and I did not want them to go to waste. Hope you heal fast Karen. Glad it is not broken. I see the numbers are going up as I predicted . Your personalities are selling the Channel. Soon you will be making so much with TH-cam the wood will end up being a hobby. Companies are going to start giving you products to demo. That's my prediction.
Thanks for always watching David! We usually don't do alot of birch either but some gets mixed in. worst case, we can always burn it in the shop. We got really lucky with a short we put out that has gone crazy! Take care!
Phil you almost 😅 found yourself in the doghouse with you asking Karen was going to be able to finish stacking the birch I know that look 👀 you got and then you know you need to just go away for a few minutes 😮😊❤
Karen, i hope you're feeling better. That look you gave Phil was priceless when he asked about you still stacking. Way to carry on. That birch looked great and the wood yard clearing is looking fantastic. You channel has been blowing up. Great job you two. What's the secret lol. Have a great week.
Thanks Jerry, he gets a lot of those looks...often! lol The birch split really nice. We've made a lot of headway, it's going to make life a lot easier. We put a short out about a month ago that has taken on a life of it's own, lol. Just pure luck. Take care and thanks for watching!
Hopefully you still have the Jonsored saws so you can run them while you’re getting the 500i ported lol. Let me know when you hit 50k subs, I usually don’t watch channels with less lol. Amazing ride.
Yup I still have all 3 of them , bad habit I guess I never sell anything . It’s ben a fun ride no doubt I think we are going to focus on the reg videos an see what we can do to make them better .

Karen, hopefully your finger will heal fast. You know most places of work you would be put on light duty, maybe drive the tractor for a week or so. Phil the load of birch you scooped up with the forks, I couldn’t believe you got all the logs. The birch sure split up really clean. I put some recommendations above for your injured employee. Take care my friends.
Thanks Allen! Phil would laugh at putting me on light duty...I just have to start doing light duty and he'll fall in line lol. The birch really does split nice. Take care!
Darn Karen, blasted Birch bit you- hope a blood-blister doesn’t build up under your nail, that hurts like a Son-of-a-Beech! Ok that’s enough. Hey Phil that “Guaranteed “ - was that a nod to our buddy up there in Gunners homeland?- Chuck Porter- great guy, good channel.🇺🇸🇺🇸 Karen remember Vanilla Ice- ice ice baby😂👍

Hi Phil and Karen, your place is looking really good 👍🏼. You both have done wonders to the place. That birch looked good going through the splitter. Ouch 🤕 Karen your finger looks terrible, I hope you recover soon!
Thanks Wayne. We're kind of at a standstill right now with the truck AND excavator not up and running. We'll get there soon hopefully. The birch does split really nice. Finger is doing a lot better than expected thankfully. Appreciate you watching Wayne!

It was probably good you went right back to work to keep it moving and working. One thing you could do that could be beneficial is keep showing it to Phil. You know, just to show him it's still working good and all! 🤣 Keep up the great job guys, and be safe.
Phil I see you have some welding line on the table so the wood won’t slide out , any regrets or you would not do without , close call with the finger Karen glad your ok , nice load of birch 👍🏰🚀🪵🚜🇨🇦

That’s right Karen! Laughing in the face of adversity cause life is a BIRCH! You did the right thing with the ice it looked so much better after your first ice…you took care of that boo boo really well. That must have hurt like a BIRCH!! ❤. You guys rock and finished before dark even with finger injury!! 3 Tylenol if you need to sleep🥰
Hello Phil and Karen. When Karen was stacking from the trailer I was thinking she should have been wearing a hard hat with that wood flying off the conveyer, I never thought about her hand getting crushed. That’s definitely a business that you have to be careful. Hope she is doing OK. You guys are still doing a great job with the videos, you can see how much better the quality and content has gotten since you started. Your subscribers are increasing now by the thousands. keep up the great work.
Thanks DonO, we appreciate you always watching and commenting. When I stack, I normally tip the trailer down more because the wood does do some bouncing. I should have done that, not sure why I didn't. Finger is fine, just swollen and black and blue. Just another day in paradise...lol
Karen your a real trooper getting back in the game. I thought you were going to show Phil what finger got smashed to go along with the don’t mess with me glare. Yards looking good 👍

Thanks Sue! lol, life sure can be a birch! It didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would!
Well at least between the two of you you have 9 fingers and three good thumbs.
One good thumb.
Oops! Thats 1thumb and 7 fingers. My math is terrible.

LOL Philip...best comment(s) ever! We can relate! Take care!
