You know the drummer from Aja Steely Dan and the piano player from Joe Cocker Woodstock. Clapton’s post 2000 bans had great players all around.

I see the amazing jazz drummer Steve Gadd playing with Clapton. So cool. What a groove!

    "Slow Hand" is the man!
Here is a treat for you all. My favorite Clapton tour was in the mid-1980s and called BEHIND THE SUN, and the whole show this blew me away. The whole thing can be found here. For an example search youtube for "Eric Clapton - Tangled In Love (1985) HQ", You will LOVE it!

The "noodling" improve that Clapton does in the beginning is just him warming up. Trying to get enveloped by the groove. Once there, there are no bad notes.....

Watch his leg, mid song you can see his foot, knee, and tibia and humorous are all lost in the sauce.

One of Clapton's guitar inspirations was the legendary Buddy Guy. He also heavily influenced Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn, among others. My favorite song from Buddy is "Feels Like Rain", but to really showcase his guitar work you should check out another song on that album, "She's a Superstar"

Hello Shawn, I wonder if you'd be interested in checking out another song by SRV, if so, then give this one a spin "Stevie Ray Vaughan - Tin Pan Alley (with Johnny Copeland)" (by the channel: SRV) --The song "Tin Pan Alley " aka "The Roughest Place in Town" which is a Bob Geddin's blues song and was recorded by Jimmy Wilson, which was a top 10 hit on the R&B charts in 1953. This song became a popular song by West Coast blues performers throughout the 60's and 70's. Stevie Ray Vaughans version didn't reach top 10 billboard commercial success, but rather became a deep cut fan favorite.

Good one! Please check out Bob Marley's version. Love Clapton, did this song some justice, but Marleys version is awesome also. I'm a big Marley fan. Guess Eric was too🙂. You videos are so diverse. Dig it.✌️

if you get a chance you should listen to Tears in Heaven it's a very sad song about when his son died from falling out a 53rd floor window, it will bring tears to your eyes and break your heart.

His music is not worth it.

I've got a great idea. Keep your cancel-culture, hatred spewing political lies to yourself. This is about music, not your personal problems.
