taking apart a wind machine fan to clean it

In this video I show you guys how to take a wind machine fan apart and clean it before buying a new one. They're very easy to clean. So I hope you try cleaning it before you go spending money on buying a new one.

Hey, great job! I wish you would have turned the fan on when you were finished cle😊aning it, though! I went through cleaning my smaller Honeywell fan, turned it on and the blades spun 3 times and it was OVERRR. LOL I have to try it all over again😮 Oh well, trial and error. Thanks again, friend! 😊👍

Yes I wish I would have. Sorry I didn't. But I swear it worked like a champ. If your fan is getting stuck. A single drop of baby oil on the base of the shaft should help it spin smoother. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and for the comment. God bless.

It seems like Lasko has changed the way the blade is on the fan. I cannot get the dang thing off and have seen 2 videos where you guys seem to just pull it off with little struggle.

So the fan blade does off mine acts like it locked in place

They do get stuck sometimes. But they should slide off after a good tug.

I honestly would not recommend running it under water. May very well be life threatening to do so. Please DO NOT RUN IT UNDER WATER.
