Definitely a good deal, I’d take it all day, I had a 98 cobra back in 03, blk on blk, I loved that car…Easy on the 2valve tho, 99-04 is the most loved body style of all time…
haha no disrespecting the 2v at all. I highly enjoy the 2v for many reasons. Andrew has already shown how easy you can reach 10's with just a turbo slapped on. but if you're on a budget, want something that can make a decent amount of more power NA or boosted, holds value and is just flat out cooler of a name, a cobra for the right price is the way to go! but yes, the body is a very contreversial look. if done properly either body style looks phenomena. some days I LOVE my mach1 over the cobra in the looks department. and some other days I'm head over heels for my 97 cobra. depends on my mood haha.
@@snakebitten1997 I agree, I love the look of the 96-98 cobra, I like all 94-98 Mustangs, and you’re right with the right springs and wheels they do look just as nice..👍
ive come to realize its all about how a car is taken care of. it can have very high miles but as long as it was taken care of along with general maintenance and never neglected they will treat you right! my 97 is a prime example of this statement. id say you had a great buy!
I paid $6400 for a 72k 96 Cobra in January with a fresh top end bassani midpipe, bassani catback and 4.10's. Deals are out there, made a 24hr round trip to go pick it up.
Thank you for commenting your purchasing and spreading the word about these wonderful cars for amazing deals, your helping out the cause!!! Lol 🐍 🤙🏻 congrats on the sick buy 🤝
I love hearing these cars going up in value! but yes unless you're a collector or 100% set on buying that car, you can easily save a lot of money digging around and finding some smoking deals!
im a big fan of my cobras exhaust. I haven't heard another cobra sound as close to mine but yes I agree, that x pipe is smoother than the cream cheese on my bagel!
I cut out my cats on my x with my bassani's and it sounded like shit, got weird looks and it was embarrassing to drive (sounded great with cats and had a small hole in one muffler). Recently switched to Borla pro-xs and it sounds sick! Get compliments at every red light.
