Highly recommend the Super cool. With NASA on track, your not allowed Coolant. Only water. So a water additive like super cool is crucial. Been using that brand for YEARS in my racecars. Noticed a 40° difference in my old Civic Racecar on the back straight, WOT, at Utah Motorsports Campus. Definitely plan to run that in the Cobra as well this year when she gets out on track.
Man, those pictures look exactly how mine did when I pulled the upper manifold to pull the driver valve cover.... guess I know what I need order next!

Is there a way to add an intercooler to the blower setup or are you locked in?
1 kid has a 1 of 1 IC setup for this blower for our cars. And ford made prototype PD blower Lincoln Mark 8 back In ‘93. Fords prototype had a water to air IC setup. Everyone has screamed to the death at me saying that it’s not possible for “B” heads to get an Intercooler. If Ford could do it, and some random Swedish engineer where the kid bought the 1 off Brick from, it’s obviously doable. Especially with modern CNC tech. People just don’t want to do it.
@ makes sense, a lot easier to just throw a centri unit on
@Saren_95 for most people it’s the most logical, more bang for your buck and safer on heat. B heads perform better with those anyway. But the powerband on the Kenn bell makes it so worth it. Just have to take care of it

Is the meth spraying all the time or do you have to turn it on?
It’s set up to spray when it sees a certain boost level. Once it sees the certain boost level, it sprays at full max for maximum cooling. Driving Normal it doesn’t activate. So I won’t be needing to refill the tank as quickly as you would expect
Did you upgrade the internals before installing the k.b ?
Yes, but I had a hurt motor so regardless what I was gonna do, the motor had to be built or rebuilt
Question I see your IAC valve capped off how did you do that?
I use a MS3 Pro ECU now. Got to be honest I have no clue how it runs. Apparently I’m on speed density now but the IAC needs to be hooked up to the blower & plugged in. There’s no vaccuum at all on the ports where the caps are. I’m not a tuner and ECU guy, car just works lol
Get a reishe 170 thermostat and lower your fan temps my car runs 165-180 and run an 03-04 cobra factory radiator and deleted all the ac system so no condenser in the way
I’m still on the OG 1.5l 14 psi with the 2.25 upper. Modified enlarged inlet And stock 6.5 crank 550wheel hp 540tq that’s why I have never wanted to go to the 2.1 if I ever change the blower I’ll swap it to the old 2.2 it’s a direct change
Nice ride bro. I’ve been going through my 2001 cobra. It’s came a long way since I’ve owned it when I got the car. It wasn’t in the best condition. It’s sad how some people let these cars go down. With that being saidit’s came a long way. I’m saving my money for cams at the moment.

I did not know they had a IC version for you! It’ll be worlds better than mine. IC = safer!!!
Intercooler is always better that is the main reason people shy away from the b head kits because no intercooler.

This is kind of off-topic but I've seen people upset you got rid of the Mach1, I'm glad you got rid of it and kept your dad's Cobra that he handed down to you. I can tell that car means a lot to him and how proud he is of you. When I was 15 my grandfather bought me a 60's muscle car just months before he suddenly passed away, by 22 I had sold it without really needing to. I live with that regret every single day. Of course your dad would never want you to choose the car over your health or having a home.. but I guess just be aware that should you ever get rid of it, there will be an emotional toll that money can't pay off. Looking forward to how this KenneBell setup plays out, I've highly considered going this route myself but always heard horror stories of the heat.

So far, I’m loving it. This supercharger is definitely catered towards a very select group of people. I’ll make another video on whether or not this blower is right for someone. I will try to be as in depth as possible on the Cost, Install, Results of the blower. So far, I would say it’s worth it if you just want a better driving car around town & you race very seldom. I love the look of the supercharger and the pull is exhilarating compared to the car being NA. Like I said in the video, my Peak 400 wheel torque is now at 3,600 RPMs. It quite literally has changed the car from a regular driving, small pulls stand point currently. I will definitely film the full pulls in the future. I’ve driven the car now around maybe 70 miles and it’s been driving fine.
Only thing my v6 charger is good for is a daily and saving up for the v8 then the gas mileage is sub par cause how heavy the damn car is if definitely say v6 charger is a good starter car though
Nothing wrong with a v6! I drove clapped out 06 ford focus for years. Finally started giving me issues. 253K of service! Got a Toyota for a DD now. Love it. V8’s do suck for MPG and being on E85 full time isn’t fun, especially not having any stations remotely close. I have to fill up jugs after work when I’m in the area for e85. Hey, race car life!
Yea v8s nowadays get surprisingly good mileage my 6th gen Camaro ss I’ve been averaging around 20mpg city and like 28 highway with a manual transmission

I misinterpreted what Andrew told me, because my throttle cable sticks, he’s worried it will stick once I’m full WOT. I was under the impression he wanted to check some things out. So, he wants to see IAT’s when I do a pull, I need to get my laptop ready so he can check everything out and of course the sheer safety aspect from the crappy throttle cable I’m using currently. It was sticking in the video at idle

@@snakebitten1997 I can't recall if OEM throttle cables are still available for these, every once in a while I hit my cables with some white lithium grease spray. Is your issue being caused by the throttle body being moved to a different location, causing the cable to bend/grab?
My 98 cobra idles high sometimes. Try tapping on TP sensor and see if it goes down. Mine does

Awesome man welcome to the kennebell cobra club order you some Torco methanol and mix it with some distilled water the premixed boost juice is only 30% methanol by weight you want at least 50% preferably 60% methanol 40% water for best results I dropped iat over 30 degrees from boost juice to my own mix
I’ll look into that. On snow performance “boost juice” it’s claimed by them to have a mixture set of 49% Methanol & 51% Distilled water. I’m a little weary about doing my own mixing. They did it that way because I believe to much meth over time can dry out the pump, lines, and nozzle and that’s something I don’t want to fail on me 😂😂 But, I’ll look into it like I said!
Yeah man some Channel on TH-cam tested a bunch of different premix’s devils own was like 25 percent snow performance and vp premix were 30-35 percent way lower than they advertise I confirmed it as well I run a nozzle on the inlet pre rotor and a nozzle post rotor under the lower blower manifold it literally ices up the inlet on a pull. I was the original guy who did the inlet mod and bypass valve set up on mine got the little 1.5l kb making 550 to the wheels

The 03 Mach 1 sounds like it has an OR X-pipe with SLP Loudmouth 1s while the 97 Cobra might also have a OR X-pipe with Borla Stingers.

I don’t remember the timing tbh with you. I’m running E85 & a Meth/Water setup with 11-12# I had a few issues, I took the car home. Once the issues are solved I’m going to pulley down and we should be close or at the 500whp mark.
