At least the big wigs at Nissan aren't braindead and still possess basic understanding of supply and demand, so watch their new 400z sell like hot cakes and fly by the sales of the Supra and NSX. The R36 (whenever that gets finished) will also do the same! FAITH IN JDMANITY RESTORED.

and FAITH IN CORVETTE REMAINED SAME, AS I ALWAYS HAD FAITH IN IT, but am super sad they'll literally have nothing similar to the first 7 generations once the C8 Z06 finally ditches the pushrod. Such is the fruit of progress. Also before you call me a hypocrite for praising it's break of lineage, but hating the Supra's, just remember Toyota was too lazy to make their own Inline. Sure a Flat Plane V8 is a break from lineage for the Corvette, but at least it's still made in house. Who would've guessed GM would still have the decency and pride to do that. Oh wait, GM doesn't, neither does Chevy. It's the Corvette Team that should get all the credit. Seriously Corvette Engineers are like maybe only like 2.19% related to Chevy at this point. I'm sure if Chevy ever threatened to discontinue the Corvette, they could literally just pick up their factory and just become their own brand and keep making Corvettes. They just sit under Chevy for the sake of easy dealership access and distribution at this point.

It's not abnormal to have personal bias in a TH-cam video. Especially since in this case, it was positive. I rarely speak positively of Maserati these days, so my excitement stemmed from surprise.

I think that Jaguar and Aston Martin needs to go away from the cars scene for a bit, I've seen too much cars of them and now it's time to give attention to other cars that were forgotten for too much. Unfortunately safety regulations won't allow that. There's strict restrictions on the shape of the nose, pillar thickness etc. Most of the classic iconic cars we love would be impossible to recreate today as road legal production vehicles.

so far it seems somewhat promising
I'll simply start trusting them as much as most did in their earlier years. Because basically Maserati is coming back to it's origins, beeing the ones who alway experiment with new stuff, especially on engines. I mean, they were among the first to put 4 and 5 valves per cylinder into a car, they did experiment with 6 (and found out that did not increase anything except cost and the chance for failure), they were the first to put a twinturbo-car into production, and are now doing some new weird stuff. Anyone who knows Maserati will know that they should be about beeing a bit risky, sometimes reckless, and that they are going to have some really big failures, but all of them will be interesting. And with the MC-20 i get the feeling that no matter what happens, it will be interesting. Which not one Maserati has been in basically my entire life, except (sorta) the MC-12.

Your videos have encouraged me to get off my ass and start a project car. My granddad bought a ford courier brand new in 1980, special ordered it with a manual, manual steering, no ac, and no radio. It seems like at some point everyone in my family has daily driven it so it became very special to the family over the years. In 1995 my grandad died and then in 2003 I was born, I've grown up around the truck but its slowly developed a host of problems leading to it being parked. So over the past couple years I've been considering fixing it up to drive but didnt get around to it till a month ago and now all it lacks to be on the road is front brake calipers and I have full intentions of making it my daily and selling my other truck.
Im trying to find a rx7 or rx8 as my project car. Never worked on a rotary before and it wouldn't hurt to try.

U need to make proper services here .it doesn't that the engine breaks.but u need to change the oils cuz he drinks it Abit fast than normal due to its Revs at 7 to 8k RPM (if I'm not wrong ).

I think a split front grille that bent inward like a "x" would be cool. Sort of like what Lexus has done but much smaller. >=< The backend could also use a more gradual blend from the rear fender to the tail lights. Doesn't really fit at the moment. Perhaps the rear hatch could flatten out a little higher and a narrow notch could be created.
Lexus front grilles are trash. Way over stated. It ruined any interest I had in one.

You expressed the same feeling I have for the 400z. Modern retro done right. I think the color was a poor choice, but the design is perfect to me. I love how it pays homage to the ogZ and the 300zx.
It's clean and simple.
Imo it's much better design than the atrocity that amalgamated into the mk5 supra. I was excited when they revealed the design of the silver FT-1 concept render. But trying to fit that design onto a z4 just completely ruined the overall proportions. It ultimately made it look like a cheap compromise and it killed all my enthusiasm.

I lost my interest to Toyota nowadays.
Celicas are goated, love them, they'll most likely not bring it back bc of the supra and the potential new 86, so there isn't much of a reason to get another sports car out, even of they do, it will most likely be disappointing like the T23 was.

I hope that, if they do make an RX-9, they do a better job than the RX-8 at conveying the RX-7 and the heritage of Mazda, but it probably will just end up being an exaggerated-looking GT sort of thing like the Supra and NSX.
But Bladed! The Supra is $50k, that's not overpriced for how quick it accelerates, especially compared to the GTR and NSX's prices.

Maybe true. I think the updated engine will be based off the newer Ascent engines (or maybe the same), but without the turbo and tuned uniquely to the BRZ/86. That said, if they use an engine that is nearly identical to the one in the Ascent that supposedly make like 276 hp with the turbo, I'd like to think that the car would take very well to the addition of a modest, respectable turbo kit and appropriate tuning.

Honestly guys, out of all the things this car needs, its a better interior. Id take a better interior over a turbo any day. You can easily plug a turbo in this car after market, but its not so easy to change the whole interior lol

I was so excited about the 240Z when it was introduced. An affordable sports car...miles of smiles. My first car was a 66 shelby GT350. One of the Hertz cars. Blue with the white stripes...I sold it in 1979 to a man who still shows it.
