This episode featured one of the best/worst massacre in Star Trek when one of the birds of prey turned into a sailing vessel and the crew floated off into space.
Also when they first started chasing the Cerritos Boimler slammed one ship into another destroying Both and killing like 400 Klingons instantly and it doesn’t even get mentioned.

Relga really had her priorities messed up if she cared only for killing Ma'ah and Malor. Instead of quickly trying to LEAVE the energy field, she doomed herself and her crew to regressing to those Proto-Klingons.
Agreed. In going through this whole vendetta, Relga was pretty much strategizing like a typical Romulan here and there, just like her late brothers would. Right down to the fabricated message from "Admiral Freeman". The moment she said "F@#& the high council!" at the very beginning of this episode, I already knew she was trouble, and that she definitely had it coming at the end here. I've always loved the idea of just a single scene of a DB/ST crossover. the ship is outgunned and outnumbered and the bridge crew is scrambling to escape a fleet of hostile ships. Then from the corner, Ensign Son Gohan, who was only on the bridge to perform maintenance on the lights, meekly says "Ummm...Captain? I can handle this; I just need an EVA suit."

Devolved is more like it, that's what happened to Worf in one episode along with the rest of the crew. He truned into some kind of protoklingon monster but it was obscured in shadows, so this likely makes this the first time we've seen protokilngons unobscured.
Always thought the idea and concept would be a cool fantasy, but space is inky black and you would be hitting something from a distance travelling at speeds you can't hit, think of shooting a bullet in midair on horseback. With Mariner and Boimler now provisional first officers there is now two spots open at LJG
